step : Beginning the Repair (0:00)

• Perform the steps outlined in Part 2

step : Removing the Door Panel (1:13)

• Remove the screws in the door handle with a Phillips screwdriver or a 7mm socket and ratchet
• Remove the door handle bezel
• Remove the T20 clips along the edge of the door panel
• Pull the door panel out
• Pry up the master switch panel
• Disconnect the switch wiring harnesses
• Lift the door panel up and off

step : Removing the Side View Mirrors (2:15)

• Disconnect the mirror wiring harness
• Remove the three 10mm nuts from the mirror
• Remove the mirror

step : Installing the New Driver Side View Towing Mirror (2:49)

• Insert the towing mirror into place
• Tighten the three 10mm nuts to the mirror
• Connect the mirror wiring harness

step : Removing the Driver Side Dash Panels (4:03)

• Remove the two Phillips screws from the lower dash panel beneath the steering wheel
• Remove the lower dash panel
• Remove the side dash panel
• Remove the kick panel
• Remove the two T20 Torx screws from the dead panel
• Remove the dead panel

step : Preparing the Folding Option Switch (5:24)

• Disconnect the new folding switch connecter from its switch
• Drill a hole in the dead panel with a 1/4" drill bit
• Push the connecter into the dead panel to make sure it fits

step : Connecting the Ground to a Ground Bolt (5:55)

• Mark the each mirror wire to identify them
• Feed the wires through the dead panel's positioning space
• Wire-tie the connector to the dead panel slot
• Loosen the ground bolt with a 10mm wrench
• Insert the wiring harness ground into place
• Tighten the 10mm ground bolt

step : Connecting the Folding Option Wire to a Power Source (7:08)

• Find the switched 12 volt power source wire (Blue wire with a purple stripe)
• Insert and inline wiretap to the 12 volt wire
• Hold the wiretap in place with pliers
• Insert the mirror wire into the wiretap
• Squeeze the wiretap tightly to secure the mirror wire

step : Preparing the Passenger Side for the Folding Option Wire (8:44)

• Pull straight out on the sides of the lower passenger dash panel to remove it
• Open the glove box and pull the sides to remove it
• Pull back firmly on the kick panel and pull up on the carpet trim to remove it
• Remove the two T20 Torx screws from the door
• Pry off the rubber boot and disconnect the wiring harness
• Feed the rubber boot out through the door
• Remove the tape and disconnect the plastic duct from the rubber boot

step : Routing the Power Folding Option Wire to the Passenger Side (11:29)

• Rout the wire through the center dash to the passenger door
• Insert the behind the weatherstrip
• Tape the wire to a screwdriver and pull it through the rubber boot
• Connect the passenger side wire

step : Testing the Power Folding Option (13:21)

• Plug in the mirror folding switch
• Turn on the vehicle
• Press the switch to fold the mirrors
