Our goal at 1A Auto is 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with a 1A Auto purchase, you can email a customer service rep, or call us toll-free, at 888-844-3393.


If you have a question about your warranty, received an incorrect item, or purchased a part that

  • You did not intend to
  • Arrived damaged
  • Has defect(s)
  • Failed during intended use under warranty
  • Does not fit your vehicle

Our guidelines make it easy to make a return or an exchange for a new replacement.

1A Auto Fit Guarantee

We take pride in offering parts that are guaranteed to fit the vehicles they are listed for. We research and test parts beforehand so you can get the right part you need the first time around.

We ask that you carefully inspect items prior to install, including for installation by a third party. If in the rare case a product does not fit the vehicle that it is listed for, we will cover the return shipping for that product. We ask that you please fill out our online return form or contact a customer service rep.

We will cover the cost of return shipping if

  • There was a listing error on the product page
  • The reason for the fit issue is unknown
  • The order was originally placed by phone

If there is a problem with the fit of a part, we may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN) and other information about your vehicle. Your help is very valuable to us in determining the reason for a fit issue.

Return Policy

1A Auto 60-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee

All items sold by 1A Auto that are not custom-made-to-order come with the 1A Auto 60-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee. If within the first 60 days of purchase you are not satisfied with a product, or do not want an item that is in brand new condition, fill out our online return form to arrange a return for a full refund on the item, email a customer service rep. If the part has defects or you received an incorrect part, we will cover the cost of return shipping within the lower 48 states.

  • Improper installation by the customer or any third party voids any and all warranties.
  • We reserve the right to charge a restock fee or refuse credit on parts that have been installed or were attempted to be installed.
  • Electrical and electronic parts cannot be returned for a refund. If an electrical or electronic part fails, it can be returned for a replacement.
  • Please carefully inspect items prior to installation. This includes prior to delivering them to a third party for installation.
  • Research installation procedures or search our video library for a how-to video specific to your year, make, and model.

Warranty Information

All warranties begin on the date of purchase and are for the original purchaser only. If a part fails during intended use after 60 days but before its warranty expiration, the part can be exchanged for a new replacement. This warranty covers the cost of the part only and does not cover any damage, labor, return shipping costs, or any other inconveniences incurred. Parts that have been installed cannot be returned for credit and can only be exchanged for a replacement.

To continue the remainder of the warranty on the replacement part, the failed part will need to be returned to 1A Auto within 60 days of receiving the return instructions. The warranty will become void otherwise.
