Does it matter if we have a power lift gate?

I don't have a power lift gate so I can't be positive. I would guess it doesn't matter but I would double check with a dealer for sure. These came as a pair & I only needed one so now I have a spare.

i wouldn't think it would. These worked great on my vehicle and were OEM replacement. Did not have power lift gate however

how do you remove the the lift supports on a 2005 Odyssey and replace?

There are clips on top and bottom of support to pop out with a flat head screw driver then the new one will pop back into each space as it is equipped with new clips.

At each end there will be a clip holding the ball joint type mount in place. Release these clips with a thin flat blade screwdriver and pull the part outwards towards you for removal.

I watched a You Tube video online...it was very easy and only took a few minutes, but you will need a way to prop the tailgate up while you change them, or have someone strong enough hold it up.
