Brake Pad & Rotor Kits
Choose Your Vehicle Make
|
If your car or truck is making a high pitched squealing noise either when applying the brakes, or letting off of the brakes, it is time for a brake inspection. Most cars and trucks produced after 1972 came standard with front disc brakes. The squealing noise you are hearing is likely a warning tab on your front brake pads to let you know your brake pads are wearing out and should be replaced. When replacing the front brake pads you should always either have your existing brake rotors machined to a smooth consistent surface, or replace with new rotors. With normal wear your brake pads will grind grooves into your brake rotors. If your brakes wear too much they can score the rotor beyond repair. Brake rotors can also warp due to excessive heat, causing a pulsating sensation when you apply your brakes. Replace your brake pads and rotors with a convenient kit from 1A Auto. Our front brake kits typically consist of a 4 piece set of brake pads and 2 front brake rotors. |
