Excellent Product and Price
My headlights were beyond repair with scratches, foggy, yellow, cracked, and the corner light fell off on the freeway after the spring lock snapped off. No products worked for me and after the corner light fell off it was time to bite the bullet.

Expecting to pay 500 bucks or more for a full set from Volkswagen I was glad to see that there were good aftermarket options. The price at 1A was comparable but what drew me in was the help that 1A provided with a recent Wheel Bearing replacement video for my Yukon Denali.

I ordered and the pets delivered within the week via UPS Ground. had the whole set of corner, headlights, and side markers replaced in about an hour or so. They look great!

Thanks 1A for economical solution and for the video help on the wheel bearing for 2003 Yukon Denali and heals light replacement for 1999 Passat.

What bulbs does it use? I ask because this will be my 3rd set of headlights for this car in 16 years. I have looked at a lot of differently brands. Some are wired differently and use different types of bulb combination. This is because so many are imported, and different countries have different regulations and standards for headlights, and light patterns. The original USA issued headlamps that came in the car, took a 9003 bulb and a H7 bulb on each side. Others take two 7H, and make step on off switch operate differently. Let me know what you know about these. THANK YOU!!

BEST ANSWER: Depending on what model vehicle you want these for may make a difference. I see they are VIN specific on certain year models. These will use OEM lights bulbs for the correct year model rages we offer them for.

1998-2000 VW Passat Headlight and Corner Light Kit
2001 VW Passat Headlight and Corner Light Kit (Built Before VIN 049999)

If you buy for the wrong application or incorrect year range or VIN ID, you will run into bulb issues.
