How To Install Replace Radiator Fan Clutch Chevy Ford Dodge

Correct Heavy Duty Replacement. This cooling fan clutch assembly is a high quality aftermarket, ready to bolt on, direct replacement part. If your car is running hot a bad fan clutch can cure the
problem. This clutch engages when under hood temperatures warm to draw more air through your radiator. It disengages at speed so it does not rob horsepower. Requires a 5 to 8 blade clutching fan.
This part can not be attached to a non clutch or flex fan blade.
This unit is Heavy Duty. Original applications that use a Heavy Duty fan clutch usually had a larger displacement engine (greater than 350 cuic inches) or had options such as air conditioning, heavy
duty cooling and/or towing package. These options cause more strain on the engine, which casues the engine to work harder and run hotter. More is required of the fan to cool the engine. If your
vehicle originally had a standard duty clutch this clutch will bolt in with no issue. If you are not sure which clutch your vehicle has it is best to use the heavy duty as this will not impact the
performance of the vehicle. If your vehicle originally had a heavy duty clutch you DO NOT want to use a standard fan clutch as this could lead to overheating.
