How do I know if my Heating or A/C Controls are broken?
To be 100% sure that your Heater or Air Conditioning (HVAC) Controls are damaged, you would need to do a proper diagnostic procedure.  This would include things like checking for power & ground at the Blower Motor, the A/C Compressor & Components, or possibly the Heater Box Door Actuators.  It may also include measuring resistances within the control unit itself.  These procedures are DIY-friendly as long as you are familiar with voltage meters and basic diagnostic procedures.

Can I replace a HVAC Unit myself?
You sure can! In most cases, there is a trim piece over the controls, and once it is removed, they can easily be removed with simple handle tools.
