Perfect fit replacement for my S80. The only thing I felt could have been added in with this kit are the two T25 screws needed to install the resistor. I would absolutely recommend this kit for Volve S80.

On Board A/C Motor Replacement

I purchased my A/C blower motor and I am not a mechanic but the customer service department helped me select and order the correct replacement part. They sent me a link for the installation video and I was able to remove the old unit and install the new unit in under two hours. The job went as smooth as it could have possibly went and the A/C blows cold and even stronger then it did before. The cost savings was over 1350.00 and during these trying times and the Covid-19 pandemic I did not have the money to spend. The parts were easy to find on the website! I ordered this unit and when I opened the box- the blower fan was broken off from the motor. I looked up your return policy and that was quick and easy! I received the new unit within a couple of days and installed it...runs like a top!

Product fit perfectly. Runs perfectly. No problems with parts. As many state online cannot get to one torx screw to remove so have to break one tab on the housing. Will not affect anything. Not an issue at all but just in case someone takes out the old before getting the new...you must use the screws from the old blower motor resistor as new unit does not come with them....just don't throw away the old unit until you get them out!!

A Bargain

A bargain blower set at a reasonable price. One of the screw holes did not line up however and I had to use a piece from the OEM.

Finally somebody to get it right the first time

I own a 2001 Volvo V70 XC and it's been very difficult to find the correct Parts anywhere from anybody except for the Volvo dealership and store. And we all know Volvos are not cheap nor are there parts. So to be able to find a reputable company with a price a third the cost of the Volvo place was a blessing in disguise. We bought this for our 2006 xc90 2.5t when the ac conked out and wasnt blowing at all. The install was simple and and motor works great. Now we have ac that blows strong and cold. We also saved money on the install since it was simple we were able to do it ourselves.

Tracking did not stay current, it actually stopped updating, that is more than like the shipping co. I did not find out until the day before receiving my order that the shipper would "not allow the package to be held" at the UPS center around the corner from my house so I could pick it up earlier than having to waiting for it anytime up until 7pm. the package arrived at 3AM at the local UPS put on the truck, I received it about 5PM. I started working on something else, having to wait and did not get the blower motor job completed that day as planned. it could have been.

Everything they said about A 1 Auto is true. I ordered a fan blower for my 2006 XC90 and the part had a hold on top of the cover. With out question Sandra said they would sent out a replacement today WOW!! I don't have to send the other part back I gave them 5 starts . I will be order other parts from them. Thanks Dave Johnson

The blower motor installed and works ok. HOWEVER, the cover that resides below the fan motor and regulator that catches rain water and condensate from the evaporator and then directs it out the drain hose has a HUGE problem! It had a 1/4" hole right in the center of it!!! What the hell! That would have let water drain straight into the car. Good thing I held onto the OEM Volvo cover.

The actual motor is fine. The cage is very cheap plastic and the screws supplied were also cheap. The evaporator cover screw hole did not line up. Thus made things extremely difficult in such a tight space. I had to use the original cover. I was tempted to use the original cage as well. The resistor was fine. I dont think Ill be ordering TRQ products again.

Great price for blower motor kit. However, new condensation reservoir comes with unnecessary hole drilled in it. Be sure to keep the old one or patch new one so water won't leak on floorboard.

This part fit perfectly, and runs VERY well!! In addition, it was about $300 LESS than the Volvo branded part! Just be patient when getting under the dash to remove/install. Take your time, and you'll be done within an hour!!

Quality is subpar

Fast shipping great communication. It works fine, install was not terrible (video helped) but the product is cheaply made. It works fine just very poor quality, be careful not to crack the plastic components.
