I've ordered from 1aauto.com before and have been happy with their service. In this case the CV axles for my 2009 Suburu Outback arrived before I expected them and the replacement job went smoothly.

Don't buy these. Installed them and had low end grinding when traveling at low speeds, and an audible hum at high speeds. Went to Subaru and bought a re-manufactured set. Immediately solved the problem. Now having a hard time getting these returned and getting my money back!

I got a pair of these for my 2006 Subaru Legacy. Installed them, and every time I start the car up, there is a vibration. I can feel it in the steering wheel as well as the floor. I didn't think it was from the axle, so I took the car to the local Subaru dealer for them to check out. They said it was the axles. I took the car to two other mechanics, and they also said the same thing. I didn't think it was the axle because the car was not moving. Vibration occurs at idling. Then I removed the new axles and installed my old axles. The vibration was gone. These didn't work for my car. Of course, I'm having a hard time returning them because they've been installed on the car. Can't really tell if they're good or bad until you install them. Looks to be defective. I'm getting a replacement set. So hopefully that works out. Certainly a sour first experience with 1aauto's customer service.

The Axial are cheep enough, but don't seen to last very long. My car is really easy to change these out, But If you were paying someone to do this.....

new subaru CV axles

I think these new axles are working fine. Most of the left/right shimmy is gone. The remaining shimmy might be in the subaru front diff.

Radiator and CV axles

The replacement parts were a perfect fit and look to be of good quality. Time will tell. So far, Im a fan of 1A Auto and have made another order!

Impreza Outback Sport cv axles

Parts were fairly priced, showed up well packaged and quickly, exact fit and huge improvement. Everything Ive purchased from 1AAuto has been just right.

Caused vehicle to vibrate at idle.

These shafts are significantly heavier than the OEM axles. This results in a noticeable amount of power loss from added unsprung mass. However, even more disturbing was the vibrations my car had at idle the second it started after the axle replacement. I drove with this vibration for a week and it did not go away. I reinstalled the old Subaru axles and the vibrations disappeared.

New Axle is not the same length as the OEM. My 05 legacy gt limited axle is 32 inch length while the TRQ axle is 31 inch.

I purchased and installed these on my 2006 Subaru Outback. The were exact replacements, the fitment was great, and they appear to be of good quality...like all parts, time will tell the whole story. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is I ordered a pair, received 2 boxes...one of which the end was blown out and the axel was of course, missing. They replaced it but it cost me a week waiting twice. Seems like a little tape over the ends on these would solve this issue. Also, the replacement had also damaged the box end and was almost falling out when delivered.
