Washer Nuts

  1. step : Removing the Door Panel (0:10)
    • Pull off the mirror panel
    • Pry up the switch panel with a trim tool
    • Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the switch panel
    • Pry reflector from the door panel with a trim tool
    • Remove the two 7mm bolts from the door panel
    • Lift the door panel up and off
    • Remove the four 5.5mm bolts from the speaker
    • Pull off the speaker
    • Disconnect the speaker wiring harness
    • Peel back the weather shield
    • Disconnect the mirror wiring harness
    • Pull the wiring harness out through the speaker hole
  2. step : Removing the Mirror (1:33)
    • Peel off the mirror weather strip
    • Pull out the two rubber plugs
    • Remove the four 10mm nuts from the mirror
    • Pull off the mirror
    • Pull the wires out through the door
  3. step : Installing the Mirror (2:09)
    • Feed the wires through the door
    • Lift the mirror into place
    • Start the four 10mm nuts by hand
    • Tighten the 10mm nuts with a socket and ratchet
  4. step : Installing the Door Panel (2:35)
    • Connect the mirror wiring harness
    • Put the weather shield into place
    • Connect the speaker wiring harness
    • Put the speaker into place
    • Insert the four 5.5mm bolts for the speaker
    • Insert the rubber plugs into the mirror base
    • Push the weatherstrip onto the mirror base
    • Lift the door panel into place
    • Push in the door panel clips
    • Push on the mirror trim panel
    • Insert the two 7mm bolts into the door panel
    • Push the reflector into the door panel
    • Connect the switch wiring harnesses
    • Push in the switch panel

Great Fit
I put these mirrors on my 2007 F350. They were easy to install and fit great. Simple plug-and-play for the electronics. I can see so much better now. These mirrors were a great upgrade. Customer service was great

Great product
After many hours of research on finding the mirrors that I wanted for my 2002 F250, I chose these mirrors. I had them installed in under an hour. They fit my truck perfectly. My truck did not come wired for turn signals, running lights or heat, I ran the wires to operate these functions during install. These mirrors are what Ford SHOULD have done from the beginning. 1aauto was very easy to deal with and had my mirrors shipped quickly and very securely packaged. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Mirrors fit perfect! Easy install, installed in about 20 mins. Look awesome! A little more money than the mirrors you find on Amazon but worth it due to the quality.

OUTSTANDING QUALITY
I procrastinated for a long time because of negative reviews of products received. However the positive ones & hours of research won. The mirrors are absolutely high quality & fit like a glove. The video was great help. The manufacture directed the use of the nut/washers with the mirrors because they were larger than the original but they are not. I did follow the directions and used the new ones. You might notify the manufacture to check it out. The shipment was right on. I couldnt ask for any better service than I received from 1A AUTO. THANK YOU.

Great Looking Mirrors and easy to install
My 06 F-350 had a broken lens on the outside of the mirror. This pair of mirrors updated my trucks appearance, and got rid of the broken lens. Best of all the veiwable area of these new mirrors is better. The fit is perfect and the look is Great!

GREAT QUALITY
First side took 10 minutes, passenger side took 5. I have an 2004 Ford Excursion Limited and everything worked, from the heaters to the turn signal, plug and go.

08-10 Ford F-250 tow mirrors
Purchased these tow mirrors for my 2003 Ford F-250 and am completely satisfied on how easy it was to install these mirrors. I researched 1a auto on you tube and they have a very user friendly video on how to install them. Everything was one hundred percent accurate from the video and I would highly recommend purchasing from them as I already have. I already purchased from 1a auto again to replace my fog lights and they were just as easy to install with having a complete oem fit.

Great so far...
1AAuto sent them to me fast. I went to put them on and when I got to the drivers side mirror, I discovered it had a chunk missing out the plastic that goes against the door. I called them immediately, expecting to have to remove the mirrors, return the set and wait for new ones to show up. Nope. They are sending a new pair. Told me to keep the extras for spare parts. Thats pretty awesome. Thats how you take care of customers. As for the quality, they seem very solid. The harness plugs fit right and everything functioned. Hopefully, theyll last for years. Ill be driving the truck this afternoon, so well see how they do in the wind. Hopefully, I can just leave this very favorable review as it is. As of right now, Im a happy customer. Good product, fair price, great customer support. (Ive given them 4 stars, not 5, only because I dont know yet how the mirrors are while the truck is running down the road.)

Customer service not great!
I was very excited to upgrade my mirrors for my 2002 f 250. I researched awhile and finally got what I wanted. My issue is after getting my order they didnt come with extra adapter as describe. I have called twice now talk to very nice people who assured me they will be sent out 2day shipping. I havent heard anything or seen anything. I had a car Electrican setup to install the mirrors for me, who was very hard to find and book, but now we are both on hold for my project! I get thing happen and parts get missed, but after 2 calls and 2 promise and still nothing Im very disappointed! Awesome mirrors if I could only use them!

Great Mirrors
They are great Mirrors they bolted right up to my 05 Ford Excursion with the power heated blinker mirrors but no running light but the Trail Ridge mirrors were plug and play and the marker light worked with the new ones. Worth every penny!!!!!

Id give ten stars if I could
Perfect mirrors, better than OEM! 10 STARS! I bought these after buying a cheap set elsewhere to upgrade the standard power towing mirrors on my 99 Super Duty. The cheap set lasted for 3 hours. Thats how long it took to remove the stock ones, install the cheap ones, realize after driving 2 minutes I hated them, and take them back off. I then ordered these. Do not waste your time with other mirrors! Buy these! They are the best! It only took 3 days to get them too! The mirror glass is crystal clear, the mirror is sturdy and does not vibrate or whistle, the mounts line up perfect, the lights look OEM, the wiring is as heavy as OEM, and a big plus.... BOTH mirrors on both sides are heated - top and bottom!!! Thats not even available on the OEM ones! These are not the same style mirrors that came on my truck from factory, and have more features. They do fit mine and many other years though. I liked the look and larger glass so I went with these vs the original style. I had to run my own wiring for the mirror heat, markers and turn signals, but it was worth it. Just for reference, the wires on the mirror harness match OEM. If you do a mod like mine though, you need to add some wiring on the truck end to make everything work. If you have power mirrors from factory its plug and play for that part only with the included adapter harness, but for heat, and lights you have to add 4 wires. Ground, corresponding turn signals, marker, and power for the heat. I installed a switch on the dash for the heat, and found the remaining wiring under the steering column. Easy to look up the wire locations and colors online. The mirror wire color is not as readily available. Here it is on the mirror harness, Black=Ground, Gray=Mirror Heat Positive, Brown=Marker Positive, Mint Green=Turn Signal Positive. Buy the pins from Ford to put on your wires, and slide them in the adapter harness to make a clean install. I dont recommend splicing any wires on the mirrors before first finding out if it voids the warranty. The pins are only $1.44 each from Ford. Make sure to watch the comparison and install videos on these as well if for some crazy reason, you are still on the fence about buying these. Again 10 STARS!

Very happy!
Installation was very easy. Someone hit my drivers side mirror and I decided to replace both with these aftermarket mirrors on my 2003 F250 because it was cheaper than the Ford ones. Like them a lot and the updated look on my truck. 1AAuto included a wiring adapter which was great. In 2003, there was a change in the wiring. Product came set up for either. And the visibility with these mirrors is outstanding.

Great mirrors-2003 Ford f250
This is an update. I have had these mirrors for about three months. They were extremely easy to put on (thanks to 1A Auto video) and they do NOT vibrate at all at any speed. Make sure you secure them very snuggly but not overtighten. I wish I had done this years ago.

2005 F250
Received my 2008 style mirrors and installation was a breeze, I really like the quality construction of the mirrors, no vibration in the mirror itself, great fit and finish, very glad I bought them. They improve the visability for pulling the travel trailer a lot. Best non oem product I have ever bought.

great quality set of mirrors for the money
I have a 2003 f-250 xlt super duty with sport mirrors could not see a thing out of them I install theses in 1 hour there great on my truck they were plug and play now i have heated marker light and blinker didnt have to modify a thing And now i can see everything no more blind spots

Could NOT be happier...these things are amazing.
Easy 15 minute install. The plugs were a perfect match and wiring changes already made so the power mirror function worked correctly with my 02 Super duty. Mirrors are WAAAAAY better than factory for field of view. I can finally see whats behind me! Absolutely no vibration. Overall one of the best upgrades I have made to my truck. They shipped quickly and cam e very well packaged.

Outstanding OEM Quality Mirror!!
Excellent mirror!! This is a VERY high quality heavy duty aftermarket mirror with the fit and finish being just as good as stock Motorcraft mirrors that cost almost $1K for a set. I installed these on a 1999 Ford F350 so I purchased the wiring adapters as well. I did not have the marker/turn lights or the defrost on my original mirrors but it was a piece of cake to wire everything up. There is plenty of information on the web to show you how. I went with the 2712 ThermaSync Defroster switch to control the defroster. There is no noticeable shaking of the mirror at highway speeds either and no exposed wires around the mirror like I have read about with other aftermarket brands. My only complaint is that the marker light lenses were only available in smoke instead of plain amber.

Great product.
06 F350 6.0 Lariet Extremely easy install. Doesnt feel cheap or flimsy. All the power options work. Packaging and shipping was great. Its a nice cosmetic upgrade to the old-style round side mirrors. You will also notice a significant increase in the mirrors field of view and almost no blind spots. Great product.

Great Product & Excellent Fit
Very solid product and perfect plug and play for my 2004 limited excursion with power heated mirrors (not folding). For the perfect fit I made sure to only tighten each nut a few turns to slowly and evenly pull the mirror in to the car. There is insulation on the new mirror that compresses in to place. Taking the door skin off is very easy.

Quality at a good price
I installed these mirrors on my 2006 f250 they where a direct bolt on replacement for the old mirrors. They look sharp and work well very impressed! Installed in a half hour. Would recommend to any one as a good replacement option

Great Visibility!
I drive a 2006 F250 and I have been looking around for quality mirrors to upgrade my "jelly bean" mirrors which came from the factory. I came across the Trail Ridge brand and heard nothing but great reviews. The mirrors arrived very well-packaged. Installation took me less than 10 minutes for each side. This website had very in-depth installation videos which greatly helped. And my truck basically has no more blind spots anymore. the greater mirror surface area helps with visibility while driving. The only reason I gave it 4-stars is because I noticed a super slight distortion on my driver side mirror. It had a slight funny house mirror effect. It is very negligible but I am just very picky lol. I also wish the mirrors came with the amber lens instead of the smoked lens. Great product! Would definitely recommend to whoever owns the Styleside body style superdutys.

Great Product!!
For all of you 2007 and down guys with the older mirrors dont hesitate to upgrade to these! I previously had a 2008 F250 with this style of mirror from Ford and these are the same form, fit, and function. Plug and play no cutting, splicing, or changing of anything. I put these on a 2005 Ford Excursion.

worth buying
Had one of the original mirrors damage on a 04 Excursion. Decided it was time to update the mirrors and very happy with that purchase. The mirrors not only fit as they should with the factory plug it was a very easy install less than an hour to do both sides. The difference in the view was instant, much better then the original mirrors and the larger spotter mirrors make vision amazing. Really like the tinted marker light and turn signal it gives a nice look. If you are considering this purchase they are well worth the money even more so if you are updating from the older style you will not be disappointed.

Purchased these mirrors for my 2004 F350 as an upgrade to the OEM tow mirrors. Clear, accurate description on the website. Perfect transaction with 1A Auto. Super-Fast shipping. These are the newer style mirrors found on the 2008-16 Ford Super Duty trucks that are designed as direct replacements for the 1999-2007 trucks with power heated mirrors.. The only difference from OEM is that these have smoked turn signal lenses instead of the factory amber color lenses.

Hey my truck is a 03 Ford F-250 superduty xlt but the mirrors are not tow mirrors. They are the normal ones and they are not power heated and don’t have the turn signal light. If I buy this, how will the power heat and turn signal work? Do I have to wire different? Or add a switch?

We advise you order mirrors with the exact same options as your original, as these will not function properly if your vehicle does not have the same capabilities. Our mirrors are intended to be a direct plug and play replacement for the exact options listed.

Please take a look at part number TRMRP00038 which are a pair of towing mirrors for a 2003 Ford F250 SD with power mirrors. They are manually folding and telescoping. Please be advised these have a round connector. (90 degree swing).

The turn signal is on the outer edge. can be seen by side streets/curb. Not in the mirror. very pleased with the product and installed easy.
