This part is obviously very well constructed, That is extremely important because cheap, flimsy parts are not what I want for my vehicles. Those kind of parts are becoming the norm. 1A Auto parts are always high quality, well built, and most of all, machined to precision tolerances to fit my vehicles. This part is exactly that. Very good part!

I purchased this item 1/28/2020 an today 7/29/2020 this drive shaft already broke I only drive city and highway miles dont understand why this happened.

I searched for weeks trying to find the right driveshaft. Plug color, length, etc., etc. I emailed them once and provided the vin# and DONE, got it the first time. Finally the price compared to a new one. So if you're like me and you contemplate a lot trying to find the right parts have no fears with A1, they'll help you get the right part the first time.

This fit in my 2004 Dakota crew cab with 6 cylinder engine. Easy to install, but try to reuse the old bolts on the propeller shaft; the new ones require an Alan Key and they are a pain to put in.

I can tell you I used it on a 2002 Dodge Durango and it worked perfectly. Can't say for sure on the 2001, however if it was me I would buy it again to try it.

Yes it will, they are the only ones that have that rubber unit on the end. Also replace the hardware with. Grade 8 bolts

I am not entirely aware if it does fit the durango SXT. 1AAuto is pretty reliable though and thorough about their products and fitments if it says it will fit then I would agree with them. I think they have a good return policy as well so if it does not fit you could return it. I realize that can be a hassle though anyway I hope this helps sorry about not being completely sure if it would work or not.
