My 05 Chevy Fuel sending unit Rotted out and started dumping fuel. I had an immediate need for a new one on a budget. I ordered the 1AFPU00407-Fuel Pump & Sending Unit Module.I had it in just a few days and I saved hundreds of dollars with 1A. It came complete with new o-ring and float. . I have been running this pump in my truck for three weeks with no problems. I think this was a great product at a great value and would highly recommend this sending unit from 1A Auto.

So far this fuel pump is working flawlessly. Easy to install and structurally same as the OEM pump. Quality replacement equipment and much cheaper than an OEM replacement.

1 A Auto website was very easy to navigate, found the part options and selected the part and the order was shipped promptly, I received the part no real issues in the install, only issue was the diameter of the pump flange was a hair bigger than my original. Luckily I have a plastic gas tank and I was able to trim away a little of the plastic to make it fit. Overall it was a pleasant experience and the fuel pump seems to be working well. I give a A plus for the overall experience of using this website for the 1st time.

Bought this pump for Chevy Yukon xl it did fit except fuel level arm fits different from original it turn opposite as far as that everything is the same. No#1 l,d buy again ,Go for it Save That money .

My 2007 Tahoe was slow to start and seemed to have have low fuel pressure after sitting long periods of time or overnight. The key had to be turned forward to raise the pressure before cranking. This problem went on for over a year and was getting worse. I should have fixed this last year. For about $100, and a couple hours of my time, I fixed a major aggravation that was eventually going to leave me stranded. Do the repair yourself, on your time, when it is convenient for you. Dont pay an enormous bill at a repair shop far from home. This fuel pump was an exact fit and required no special tools to install. 1A Auto has lots of instructional videos to help you do your own repairs. 1A has become my go-to for good quality parts at a good price.

I ordered the fuel pump from 1A Auto, it arrived on time, took couple days to install it, as the old fuel pump sending unit rotted, so it was very hard getting the lock ring off, and all 3 lines were rusty, and the connectors would not come loose. When I did get it installed it worked fine, been a couple weeks so far so good. Now time will tell. Thanks 1A Auto for saving me a couple hundred dollars !

I was struggling with my fuel level guage for some time and I order a fuel pump in the past from another vendor but the fuel pump I received from them didn't fix my problem. When I found 1aauto, I noticed the site had a fuel pump for a cheaper price than the one I ordered from the other site. The fuel pump arrived in a timely manner and was packaged with care. Once the part was installed in my Chevy Tahoe my fuel level guage started working and I noticed my ride was a lot smoother. I am very happy with the product and I will totally recommend 1aauto to all my friends/neighbors for all of their vehicle repair needs. I look forward to purchasing more parts for my Tahoe.

The float arm is not in the same position as the factory unit. 7 gallons in and the gauge reads empty and low fuel light on. I'm up to 9 gallons before I get a reading. Yes I dropped the tank AGAIN and rechecked my work as well as manually operating the float and checking the gauge. It wasn't stuck or hanging up on anything. Just being placed in a different position than the factory unit screws up everything. And now it looks like I didn't replace all my customer's fuel. Truck came in with 1/3 on the gauge leaves with the needle barely moving.

Inaccurate fuel reading on a 2006 Chevy Tahoe. The float does not come out the back and sit in the well, it comes out the side and will not move until 8 gallons of fuel go into this 28 gal. tank. The gauge was almost at 1/4 tank with the original. Put back the same fuel that came out. Gauge on E. I can only say this for a 2006 Tahoe. Maybe other vehicles are different, but this thing had me taking the tank back down to recheck if somehow the float was hung up.

Fuel pump works but the sending unit is way off! When I fill car completely up, gauge goes to full but starts dropping to about 3/4 of a tank shortly after. About 5 minutes worth of driving. Very inaccurate. If I had to do over again, I would have bought a factory replacement. You get what you pay for I guess.

Thank you for the question. The fuel filter is contained in the fuel sender assembly inside the fuel tank. the paper filter element of the fuel filter traps particles in the fuel that may damage the fuel injection system.
