I installed the hinge pin kit on my 96 Z-71. My drivers door was sagging and very difficult to close. This is a fairly easy install, other than balancing the door without it being attached. This kit works great, the only reason Im not giving a 4 star is because I had to modify the roller pin. The shaft section that seats the pin was too large. When compared to the one I removed it was about 1.5 mm larger and rather than drill out the hole, I chose to grind the pin down to fit. The kit has been installed for approx 3 weeks and works great.

Pieces were all there as advertised. Four stars as I didn't realize it didn't come with the split washers you need to for the pin ends once installed. . .not sure why they would not be part of the kit. In short, this did not save me from having to drive to the auto parts store, which is kind of the point of ordering online. Other than that, the parts all seem OED spec and well made.

Everything fit correctly except the pin that allowed the spring to lock into place was larger than original and would not seat into place . Not sure if that part was not up to specs or what the issue was

Seems to be a soft bronze alloy. . .They are very brittle not matter who you buy them from so be very gentle as you install them.
