Good Quality
These seem like very high quality mirrors. Cant wait to tow my camper with them. Love the bigger mirrors.

Work Great for Towing BUT....
I am now having my 2nd replacement set shipped. They work well and look good. However, DO NOT let anyone fold them even ONE TIME manually. The gearing inside will break immediately and it will start shaking while driving. I like the mirrors, but for $500, youd think the interior gearing would be a little better. It is good that 1A will do exchanges, but since I have to pay return shipping, Ill be out almost $160.

Easy to install and looks god
Put these on my 2011 F150. Only took about 15-20 minutes per side to install. Defiantly makes a difference and still looks good!

F150 mirrors
Mirrors was very easy to install and look very good on the truck

Awesome mirrors!
I was a little apprehensive when I bought these mirrors. Installing them by myself seemed intimidating. Fortunately 1A auto had a great video on how to remove the door panels and install the mirrors. It took me less than an hour to install and connect both mirrors. They look great, work exactly like the factory mirrors, and provide superb vision for pulling my travel trailer. I cant imagine a better product nor better support!

Excellent upgrade
Installation was a breeze on my 2013 FX4. It was super easy to rewire and run the additional wire through the factory boot into the interior of the truck. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the plate behind the door handle (one of the first steps in disassembling the door). I went to OReilly and bought a right angle pick (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/performance-tool-4601/tools---equipment-16488/tools-17919/mechanics-tools-16816/mirrors-magnets-pick-up-tools-17999/hook-pic-set/w942/4614726?viewName=redirect%3A%2Fdetail%2Fperformance-tool-4601%2Ftools---equipment-16488%2Ftools-17919%2Fmechanics-tools-16816%2Fmirrors-magnets-pick-up-tools-17999%2Fhook-pic-set%2Fw942%2F4614726) after struggling for a few minutes and that did the job with almost no effort. I was on the fence about upgrading and could not be happier that I did. 1A answered my questions immediately and shipped very fast. Overall excellent product and customer service.

Easier than I thought
The mirrors are beasts. They weigh about twice the originals. My only complaint was the lack of instructions of both paper and video. I ended up looking at quite a few useless YouTube videos. That being said, they were pretty easy to install. A small stand screwdriver and a 6mm, 8mm, and 11mm sockets are all you really need. I used my stock mirror nuts instead of the new ones because they had a larger washer attached. So far, so good. The customer service was also good.

Mirrors work great but . . .
The mirrors work great, and install was a snap. The mirrors work as intended and perfectly replace the factory mirrors on my 2014 F150. 1 annoyance kept this from 5 star. The Driver side mirror folds slower than the passenger side mirror. My old mirrors seemed to be in Sync but these are not. (they have been folded and unfolded more than 10 times now) Additionally the video from 1A was nearly perfect. really let me install with confidence. My truck did have some some additional covers around the lock that were not in the video. Removing that made resetting the door panel much easier.

Met my expectations
The mirrors were exactly what I wanted. Installation was error free. Customer support during the order process was excellent. They matched the mirror specs to my VIN number.

Great Mirrors
These mirrors work great and were easy to install. Installation video was key to my decision to buy and install myself. Big mirror viewing area is very helpful to keeping an eye on my trailer and backing it into a camping spot. This website is more helpful than the Ford Dealerships I called.

Ford F-150 tow mirrors
After reading lots of reviews and looking at many video.I called there wonderful customer service they answered every question I had .I was worried about installing them but took about 30 min per door .I did not take the door panel off all the way .They were plug and play no issues no vibration driving . I had a issue with a damaged mirror from shipping .I took pictures and 24 hours later new set was delivered. And they followed up with a call to make sure I was happy .Great service

Work great
Mirrors are awesome, they look great and they operate great! A couple things to consider, the foam pad on the back of the mirrors needs cut for a super flush fit, do not over tighten and break the plastic! Doesn’t seem super strong and they are much heavier than factory! One other thing is, they need to give some idea as to where to wire in to have the clearance light to work! I wired mine into the door lock and unlock (the backlight for the switch). Otherwise you would have wires hanging in the door jam if you were to wire anywhere else. I’m liking them so far!

ADAM H September 14, 2015
No, they are manual telescoping.

Peter D September 15, 2015
I have a 2014 F150 FX4 with power folding mirrors that has a power fold switch on the driver door. Do I still need to install the separate switch that comes with these mirrors or can the stock switch be used?
Dave L September 22, 2015
The stock switch can be used . These mirrors will function just like oem. Just install and use the existing connector . This part# 1AMRP01415 is the correct one to order , as it comes without the switch (which isnt needed) for your application.
Carlos L September 23, 2015
sorry i can not help for sure i hav a XLT and they did not put fold away mirrows on an XLT in 2014 but my thoughts is that the original switch should work .
Sidney B September 24, 2015
Do the mirrors have the puddle light?
Zach C October 22, 2015
No downward facing light. Directionals and running lights on the back of the mirror.
KERRY O October 22, 2015
No puddle light. But they do have a park light on the side along with a turn signal light
Hunter H October 22, 2015
No puddle light
Les C October 22, 2015
Nope, no puddle light. Instead, the clear LED turn signal on the side of the mirror has two LEDs in the housing. The top one acts as a turn signal, and the bottom one comes wired to what the puddle light used to be. With these mirrors, the bottom LED is only on if you have your doors open or when unlock your truck. 1AAuto includes a wiring harness so you can tap into a different wire to make the bottom LED act as a turn signal or running light (instructions are VERY poor on how to do this, but you could possibly figure it out if you were electrically savvy enough and you found some corresponding Ford electrical diagrams). Hope this helps!
Austin H October 22, 2015
No, they do not but for the price and quality I would buy again.
Osbaldo C October 22, 2015
The smoke side light is a puddle light or a clearance light depending on how you hook it up. There is No puddle light on the bottom of mirror. Really easy to install.
Sharon M October 22, 2015
No, they dont. Also, if your truck has memory mirrors (sometimes included with memory seats), you will lose that too. But, I have been pleased with these. Pricey, but they work as advertised, nice quality. Huge improvement when towing. The installation was kinda tricky, the wiring harness was not plug-and-play on my truck. I had to modify it. The instructions say to install the switch in the lower dash area, but I put mine next to the mirror adjustment control on the drivers door. This required further modification of the wires, but well worth it. There was just enough room on my 2011 F150 to fit the switch there. Once you have the door panel off you will see.
Peter D October 22, 2015
No they do not. They have two lights in the side lamp housing, one is a running light and one is a turn signal.
Oliver W October 22, 2015
No puddle light. Instead it has the amber light located on the back of the mirror that comes on when one opens the door.
James H October 22, 2015
NO
Patrick M October 22, 2015
The puddle light on this mirror is an amber marker light on the side like the F250s have.
Javier M October 22, 2015
No, the power fold ones do not have the puddle lamps, I was very sad about this but they work perfectly. The passenger side shook a little bit but they sent a replacement out quickly and it works fine.
James P October 22, 2015
Are these mirrors auto dimming?
Kevin V November 20, 2015
No
Steven W November 20, 2015
No, the mirrors do not have the auto dim feature just like oem .
Carlos L November 20, 2015
No they are not auto dimming. They are power fold, and power adjust, and the memory feature worked correctly on my truck.
Thomas S November 20, 2015
Hello, These do not support the auto dim feature.
Brian F November 24, 2015
How do you remove the lights on these mirrors? I would like to upgrade it to LED
Terry L December 19, 2015
Press on the upper inside corner which will expose the lower outside corner area, then with flat tip or putty knife push on the light cover flap from on the inside of mirror. I found a video on YouTube. Hope this helps
Sharon M December 19, 2015
The smoke lens is removeable for bulb replacement.
James H December 19, 2015
There is a little plastic tab under the large section of glass. You can usually fit a finger inside and move the tab to release the lens.
Brian F December 28, 2015
What is the part number for the chrome cap for these mirrors?
Terry L January 30, 2016
Hello, Sorry but the chrome caps we have will not fit the tow mirrors with the power fold feature.
Brian F February 2, 2016
Do you have these exact mirrors with a powers telescoping option?
Ricky V February 6, 2016
No, this will not have the power extended option. This will have the options listed below. Power Glass Heated Memory Smoked Turn Signal/Clearance Light Textured Finish Dual Arm Towing Style Power Folding
Derek C February 10, 2016
Yes I have them and love them
Josh L February 10, 2016
Yes
Brian F February 10, 2016
Yes I do.
Jesus E February 10, 2016
Will the wiring harness be an exact Match for 2013 that has all the same features?
Victor D May 1, 2016
Yes. Plug and play on my 2012 Lariat. Wire and instructions included if you want the amber light to blink with the other turn indicators.
James H May 1, 2016
For your truck is a 2007- 2014 then yes.
Sharon M May 1, 2016
The connectors will match, but I found I had to modify the harness significantly to install it as I wanted. This meant lengthening some wires. Not a big deal if youre handy, but it did not plug and play. My truck is a 2011. Also I did not like where they suggested mounting the switch, that necessitated another mod to the harness. I put the switch on the sill under the drivers window forward of the mirror control switch. Once the door panel was off I could see there was just enough room for it there. That was a good decision, Im very happy with that location. Very handy, intuitive. Overall these are good mirrors, well made. One mirror stopped working shortly after installation, they replaced it no questions asked with a new set. I fold these every day, sometimes multiple times, to get my truck into the garage. They work every time no problem.
Peter D May 1, 2016
Yes, mine was plug and play. I have a 13 lariat with power memory, fold and heat.
Bryon M May 1, 2016
Yeah plug and play
Zachary G May 1, 2016
It was on the 2011.
Eric W May 1, 2016
Yes it was for me just plug and play!
James P May 2, 2016
I own a 2012 and it was plug and play for me. The plugs matched up perfect
John P May 2, 2016
How do you get the caps off of these mirrors?
Bill M June 30, 2016
Not sure. I didnt remove mine.
Bryon M June 30, 2016
I tried but they didnt come off easily so I left them on and just learned to like them the way they are now. Wish the chrome caps worked.
James P June 30, 2016
They pry off. Try prying from the bottom.
Peter D June 30, 2016
I have a 2011 limited that has power folding mirrors. To fold my mirrors in, you pull back on the mirror adjuster switch... are these mirrors capable of folding in with this factory switch or do I need to add the switch that comes with the kit? I know someone asked a similar question but didnt know if he had a separate factory switch for power fold on his FX4 and not on the mirror adjuster like I do. Thanks for any feedback!
Matt T March 1, 2017
I have these mirrors and a 2014 FX4 with the factory switch. Mirrors power fold with the factory switch.
Scott H March 1, 2017
They fold in with the OEM switch, just as the OEM mirrors do.
Javier M March 1, 2017
The folding/unfolding will start when you pull back on the factory installed mirror adjustor switch. No need to install another switch.
Sharon M March 1, 2017
Theyll work with your factory switch
Josh L March 1, 2017
The factory switch equipped in your 2011 limited will work perfectly with these mirrors. Completely plug and play.
Carlos L March 3, 2017
Is the top mirror on passenger side flat like the driver side upper glass or convex? (smaller than they appear) Thanks!
Andrew M July 7, 2017
Both mirrors are the same size. Top are flat and bottom are convex.
Alan Z July 7, 2017
It is flat like the drivers side.
Carlos L July 7, 2017
Both top mirrors are flat. The bottoms parts are convex or blind spotters.
Chad V July 7, 2017
The upper mirror will be flat.
Alex P July 7, 2017
Both top parts are flat.
Tom F July 17, 2017
Resyncing Mirrors? Loose when folded out.
Vi T March 24, 2018
I am able to resync the mirrors by electrically folding and unfolding several times (3). My mirrors are solid and not loose when folded out. You might want to check with 1A Auto
D E March 24, 2018
They should resync by opening and closing them 3 times with the switch. Hope that was helpful
Alan Z March 24, 2018
Tighten them up
Rick L March 24, 2018
Just fold and unfold 3-4 times and everything should be good to go
O S March 24, 2018
Yes they will
B I March 26, 2018
Tighten main mirror if it shakes?
Vi T March 27, 2018
The mirror assemblies should be mounted well to the door to prevent any shaking. If the mirror glass is shaking and the mirrors are stable they may have been damaged in shipping. Please contact us and we can help you out. Thanks!
Adam G March 27, 2018
my power fold does not work when i piug in my mirrors. Only the drivers mirror works as well. Any ideas as to what I need to do to make them all work? I have an F150 2018 FX4 with power fold & memory.
Ramona S April 20, 2018
We advise that you order mirrors with the same exact mirror options as your original mirrors. Special Note: These mirrors will only work for vehicles with these exact options. If you do not have the options listed, these mirrors will not function properly. Our mirrors are intended to be a direct plug and play for the exact options listed.
Adam G April 20, 2018
Is there a mirror similar to this that also has the puddle light like my 2013 lariat? I’ve noticed that option is missing in the specs.
Joey S May 2, 2018
These mirrors aren’t available with the puddle light option. My truck had that option and you will have to due anyway if you go with these mirrors. Also the saved memory settings don’t always work either which they fail to mention. A lot of time the mirrors will adjust all the way up when you start the truck and you will have to adjust them each time. Doesn’t always do this.. hit or miss with it.
Matthew T May 2, 2018
When I purchased my mirrors, in 2016, there were no after market trailer mirrors that offered extension, power fold, memory & puddle lights. The only way to get all the features was to buy from Ford @ $1,100 each. I sacrificed the puddle lights on my 2013 F150 Platinum & it was well worth it. I use the power fold regularly & have had no problems. Even on the occasions where someone has pushed a mirror In manually, all that was required was a reset (power out & in) and every thing was back in order. I would definitely recommend this mirror set.
