2003-14 Volvo XC90 Rear Driver Side Power Power Window Motor & Regulator Assembly URO 31253721

I bought my daughter a used, 2007 Volvo XC90 to help shuttle around the grandkids. My four year old granddaughter rolled the back window down on the rear driver side and the dang thing wouldn't come up. After watching the DIY video from 1A Auto I was able to get the door panel off and conduct an inspection. I found that the guide wire on the regulator had come off and twisted out. I ordered a new regulator from 1A Auto, which was an exact match to the original. After watching the instruction video again I was able to drill out the old rivets and replace the regulator and install all new rivets. I was able to save at least a $100 or more. Thanks for the help.

Drop-in replacement: works well and window moves smoothly, but a bit of cable noise that sounds like cables binding up so I hope it lasts! Drilling out all the rivets are a huge annoyance (the two that connect the window carrier are the worst because they are deeper in the door) and adds a lot to the installation time, but thats Volvos fault.
