Customer Q&A
The white plug of the old pump shows six pins , where as the one pictured has five, why?

Thank you for your inquiry! I do see that this pump is specific to fit certain models with California emissions only, so it could have something to do with that. If you are unsure if this part will work for your vehicle we have a great customer service department that will be able to help verify fit for you!

My 1/2003 Sedona had a 5 pin as its largest connector(on the pump side under the cover, its actually 2 connectors(one 2pin, one 3pin)-pump power and level sensor connector). Installed pump, and it ran fine, but no fuel level indication. Removed for inspection, and found the new pumps connector was same style, but missing 1 pin. Found that OE level sensor was 3 wires, with the float resistance reading from the 2 outer pins, while the new replacement pump's level sensor is 2 wires and is measured from the middle and outer pins, and the other outer pjn hole is vacant. I found the easiest fix was to swap the entire OEfloat assembly to the new pump module. 1 retainer to unclip on the bottom, slide it up and out, and unplug the under cover connector.
