The mid-size Mercury Sable is a semi-luxury sold by Ford until 2005. Introduced in the mid 80's, the Mercury and twin Ford Taurus were instantly well received. Unlike any of the boxy cars of the day, the Mercury Sable was aerodynamic, featuring recessed door handles, flush headlights, and the Sable's signature wraparound headlight.
