  1. step : Removing the Wheel (0:53)
    • Loosen the lug nut covers with a 19mm socket
    • Pull off the center cap by hand
    • Loosen the lug nuts with the vehicle on the ground
    • Raise the vehicle with a floor jack
    • Secure the vehicle on jack stands
    • Remove the lug nuts
    • Pull off the wheel
  2. step : Removing the Brake Pads (1:16)
    • Remove the two 14mm bolts from the brake caliper
    • Pry the brake pads into the caliper with a flat blade screwdriver to push in the pistons
    • Pull the caliper aside
    • Pry the brake pads off with a flat blade screwdriver
  3. step : Removing the Brake Rotor (2:11)
    • Remove the two 15mm bolts from the brake caliper bracket
    • Pull off the brake caliper bracket
    • Pull the rotor off
  4. step : Removing the Wheel Hub (2:34)
    • Remove the four 15mm nuts from the wheel hub
    • Strike the wheel hub with a hammer to loosen it
    • Disconnect the ABS sensor if necessary
    • Clean the wheel hub mounting area with a wire brush
  5. step : Installing the New Wheel Hub (3:50)
    • Put the new wheel hub into place while holding the backing plate
    • Connect the ABS sensor if necessary
    • Fasten the four 15mm nuts onto the wheel hub
    • Tighten the 15mm nuts to 65 foot-pounds of torque
  6. step : Reinstalling the Brake Rotor (4:28)
    • Slide the rotor on
    • Put the bracket back into place
    • Start the two 15mm bolts by hand
    • Tighten the 15mm bolts to between 50 to 55 foot -pounds
  7. step : Reinstalling the Brake Pads (4:46)
    • Apply brake grease to the brake pad slides
    • Install the brake pads into the bracket
    • Line up the caliper piston with the brake pad notch
    • Put the caliper on
    • Thread the 14mm bolts by hand
    • Tighten the 14mm bolts to between 60 to 65 foot-pounds
  8. step : Reattaching the Wheel (6:28)
    • Slide the wheel into place
    • Start the lug nuts by hand
    • Tighten the lug nuts preliminarily
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts to 100 foot-pounds in a crossing or star pattern
    • Reattach the center cap
    • Tighten the lug nut covers with a 19mm socket
  9. step : Testing the Brakes (7:02)
    • Pump your brakes repeatedly until they feel firm
    • Test your brakes at 5 miles per hour and then 10 miles per hour
    • Road test the vehicle
