September 29, 2017
It was a perfect fit AND with the installation video it was a breeze. Thank You 1A Auto parts
Installation just like video!
October 21, 2017
Tensioner installation was very simple and the installation pin held the tensioner open making the belt placement very easy. Then, while applying a little extra tension with an adjustable wrench, the pin was removed, allowing the tensioner do its job.
Booyow!!! Simple, no problems.

Arrived faster than expected and was easy to put on. I'm far from being a mechanic and doing this myself saved me a bunch of money.

Well I honestly haven't installed this tensioner, sort of got it for the future. But it looks good and the price was very much cheaper than other places.

Lightning Fast Shipping!!! Exact Fit and the Best price on the market!!! Great Job 1A Auto you got my business.
Well made hardware, and helpful installation video.
January 6, 2020
The order was promptly delivered. The part seems well made. The installation video on the website is VERY helpful. I feel I learned something through the installation! The video does not mention the pin that is holding the tensioner loaded. Taking it off took me some time. It could have been mentioned in the video but I guess it is so obvious (so that I could figure it out.)
Real Buyer
August 31, 2020
I bought this product because my older tensioner started making a knocking sound and now this product is doing the same thing. All my pulleys are working properly and now I’m wishing I hadn’t wasted my time and money on buy this product. It hard to get a hold of them to even return the product.
Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
what is the pin on the tensioner for?
July 12, 2019
The pin holds the pulley from the tension while you install your belt. Once the belt is in place release the tension on the pulley by removing the pin
July 12, 2019
It is there for tension. Get your belt in place and pull the pin out.
July 12, 2019
If I remember right it was a line up dowel pin but I was working on VW jetta.
