Great deal if they last....
These did fix the battery drain issue i was having due to the old OEM ones not functioning properly causing the module not to go to sleep properly and causing the battery to drain and i would have to double pull the door handle to open the door. These have been in for a month or so now and oh - boy battery problems back though doors opening properly so this one i guess at the moment is - to be continued.....more trouble shooting to do!

Keeping my project car going.
I have installed the part and its working great! As usual, I made the install harder than it needed to be. Once I got into the actual installation, there really wasnt that much to it. The How-To video was very helpful, as well. As far as the part is concerned, it appears to be as well made as the original and it actually arrived a day or so before I expected it. Ill definitely be going back to 1A Auto in the future when I need another replacement part.

Hi I have a 2004 1.8T vw jetta 4 having a problem with both the left side door locks. The left back door button does not open at all. The front passenger door opens when it pleases . Kindly advise which part must I purchase?
Vincent M June 10, 2017
Usually when it affects that many doors it is the drivers door locking module.
Robert B June 10, 2017
It could be a driver side module, or a combination of actuators. It is highly recommended to have a diagnosis to ensure a first repair completion.
