Was a lot of work but rewarding
It was a job but the video on 1 A Auto is a must. It took me about 10 hours but I’m slow but the was start to cleanup time. It was good to take a few breaks and had a beer. So glad to have saved the money and have that feeling of accomplishment.

4.7 timing belt kit
watched the you tube video. followed the instructions and 5 hours later test drove. no problems. would recommend purchasing the thermostat and gasket and radiator hoses to make it a complete job.

Quality kit, everything included
Very complete kit with all quality stuff. I felt like I owed 1A AUTO my business after the excellent video that made the job so much easier. I would watch a portion of the video, pause it, do that step then move on etc. I tried not removing the radiator but when it was time to get my impact wrench on the crank bolt it wouldnt fit. Bottom line follow instructions and save the $500 plus labor cost the stealership charges.

Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
There is no mention of replacing the thermostat in this whole process. What are your thoughts on this? I looked it up, why is this so expensive?
Michael W February 3, 2019
The thermostat is not included in this particular kit as it does not come that way from our vendors.
