The ignition coil pack is a crucial part of your ignition system. It's function is to convert the 12 volt power of your vehicle's electrical system in to 35,000 or more volts. This produces a high intensity spark at the spark plug which then ignites the fuel in the cylinder. Coils in general will wear out over time.

This item is backed by our limited lifetime warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will replace the part free of charge. This warranty covers the cost of the part only.

  1. step : Removing the Wiper Arms (0:25)
    • Pry the cap off the driver side wiper arm stud
    • Remove the 14mm nut from the stud
    • Pull the wiper arm off the stud
    • Open the hood
    • Remove the two 14mm mounting nuts from the passenger side wiper arm
    • Pull the wiper arm off the windshield
  2. step : Removing the Cowl Cover (2:10)
    • Pry off the two cowl corner trim pieces with a trim tool
    • Pry the two push clips out of each side of the cowl with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Release the clips along the front of the cowl
    • Lift the cowl up and out of the engine bay
  3. step : Removing the Wiper Transmission (3:41)
    • Unplug the wiper motor electrical connector
    • Unclip the wiring harness from the lower wiper cowl
    • Remove the four 10mm bolts from the wiper transmission
    • Pull the wiper transmission off the lower wiper cowl
  4. step : Removing the Lower Cowl (5:01)
    • Remove the three 10mm bolts from the lower cowl bracket
    • Remove the bracket from the cowl
    • Remove the nine 10mm bolts from the lower cowl
    • Pull the cowl out of the engine bay
  5. step : Removing the Ignition Coils (6:04)
    • Remove the plastic engine cover
    • Disconnect the wiring harnesses
    • Remove the 10mm bolt from the coil pack
    • Lift the coil pack up and out
  6. step : Installing the Ignition Coils (7:04)
    • Insert the coil into place
    • Tighten the 10mm bolt to the coil
    • Connect the wiring harness
    • Press the engine cover on
  7. step : Installing the Lower Cowl (11:10)
    • Fold over the cowl wind guides
    • Slide the lower cowl into place
    • Insert the nine 10mm bolts into the cowl
    • Raise the cowl wind guides
    • Line up the support bracket on the cowl
    • Insert the three 10mm bolts into the support bracket
  8. step : Installing the Wiper Transmission (10:23)
    • Line up the wiper transmission
    • Insert the wiper transmission pin into the rubber grommet
    • Insert the four 10mm bolts into the wiper transmission
    • Plug in the wiper motor electrical connector
    • Clip the wiring harness to the lower wiper cowl
  9. step : Installing the Cowl Cover (11:56)
    • Slide the cowl under the windshield
    • Push in the clips along the front of the cowl
    • Insert the two push clips into each side of the cowl
    • Clip the corner trim piece onto each side of the cowl
  10. step : Installing the Wiper Arms (12:59)
    • Line up the passenger side wiper arm on the windshield
    • Fasten the two 14mm nuts onto the wiper arm
    • Line up the driver side wiper arm on its stud
    • Fasten the 14mm nut onto the stud
    • Push the cap onto the wiper stud
    • Close the hood
