Think twice before you try to save on these

Installed all 4..... within the first 20 miles, CEL there 4 codes and after some research found that you should only use Saab orig coils.... put the old ones back.... car is doing better

Flat out will not work

These coils will throw multiple misfire related OBD codes. 1A Didin't even ask me to return them I assume they know that the coils don't work properly.

Would not recommend. Bought these back in April, don't remember seeing any reviews at the time. Here it is July 2nd and getting random misfire codes. Pulled all 4 and every single one of the connectors is cracked or broken. I put the old ones back in and will use process of elimination to find the bad coil in the old set. If no one at A1 responds to this, i will try customer service. I'm hoping they stand behind their products.

Works great! But have check engine light?

These perform fine, solved my misfire, though I have a check engine light now. Had the code checked and it is due to a random misfire and ignition fault. Car runs totally fine though. The female connector does not fit well with the car's male plug, I had to shave down the guide tabs with a razor blade as they are all about 2mm wider than the stock tabs. I had to do this to each new coil connector before they would fit properly. Still, they are super cheap so not a huge deal. I told customer service about the CEL and they sent me 4 new ones, no questions asked. Different part number though: 1AECI00289 coil pack, will leave a review on that one as well.

Coils not good

I installed these a month ago and they were ok but now causing a misfire problem. I would not recommend these to another person.

Installed these in my 2007 9-3 with 131,000 miles . As others have learned, aftermarket coil packs can be problematic on these Saabs. These coils work great out of the box, and they pull hard in strong acceleration. Very pleased with them.

Coils incompatible with ECU

Though the car ran fine with the new coils, they set off the check engine light and they are apparently incompatible with the car's computer. I am not sure if these items are returnable. This is a known problem with some years of Saabs, so these TRW coils should not be listed as compatible

07 Saab 9-3 2.0t 60th anniversary coil packs

Coil packs gave me 10 codes and made my car run super rough. I've spent a little over 4,000 on this car and just got the timing done and these coil packs just made the car run horrible put the old ones in and check engine light went off and isn't running the way it was. Didn't want to make this review but it just ran horrible.

They have no marks on them at all. There is a paper tag in the box - Made in China.
