Does Not Fit 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE
Have to Force Bolt Into Hole On Sensor. Does Not Sit Flush and Plug is on End Instead of OEM at an Angle causing the Pigtail to be stressed. Will Be Returning Immediately.

Great Deals
You could never find a deal like this at your local auto part. Thank!

Aftermarket doesnt work!!!
I thought Id hit the jackpot getting both sensors for super cheap, the dealership wants $60/per for these. Lesson learned. This aftermarket part is too long, by just a little bit, and hits the crankshaft. Mine had a scuff mark on the end. This location is a real bear to get to, so save yourself some time and sanity and just go buy the genuine Nissan part. This part fixed my issue of hard starting for a couple days, then came back with a vengeance, worse than before. Genuine Nissan part fixed it for good.

Fit and working
Dealership and part store wanted over $50 for a single one. I was able to change both crank and cam sensors for less than one. Came within 3 days Only thing that would have made it better is if someone would have installed them for me.

Parts have been great!
So far so good. I’ve ordered 5 different parts for a 2005 Altima and a month later and no issues.

Fixed my intermittent shutting off problem
Car was shutting off at odd times and often dangerous places, while driving and sometimes while idling. All research indicated the crankshaft sensor was most likely cause. On the Nissan Altima this sensor is a bear to get to. You need to be an octopus or contortionist to get your fingers on it. Some sort of flashlight either small enough to work down into the work area or with flexible neck (Snakelight from B&D) helps a lot. Due to a mounting bracket, (either motor or transmission, couldnt tell) I could not get a 1/4 inch ratchet with long extension and socket to go on the bolt holding in the sensor. I had to thin down the socket wall on bench grinder so it would fit over the bolt head. Could be the clearance between bolt head and sensor body is too tight rather than the suspicious motor mount, not sure, anyway it was tight!? After I got the old sensor out I had a hard time releasing the connector lock due to some old and hardened connector grease or something that had set up like epoxy. I damaged the connector lock prying it apart but it all went back together fine and weekly checks of the connector with flashlight and octopus arm have not revealed any loosening. Not sure how long this sensor will last but so far it has saved me an expensive trip to the shop. If it fails in a year I still have the extra (you get two for this price) and now that I know how to navigate the tight space and have the modified socket it shouldnt be quite the ordeal next time!

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
If the sensor goes out, will it cause the car not to start?
Travis M January 12, 2016
Yes. When mine failed it had the same symptoms as if it were out of gas when trying to start.
Jacob M January 12, 2016
Yes ,the car will not start
Gregory J January 13, 2016
Good Morning Travis, the reason I changed my crankshaft position was because I had a check engine light. Drove the car to the mechanic shop and he diagnose it by placing a code scanner on the car. Mechanic stated that the code he pulled was to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Car would always start before replacing the sensor.. Thats my reason for replacing the sensor..
Misael P January 13, 2016
I had the same problem. Replaced sensor cleared codes ran good for awhile. Found the plug for the sensor was loose. Replaced the plug problem was solved. So if you have a sensor code check the plug replace both saves time and headaches.
