Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Hi everyone, Sue here from 1A Auto. Today we're installing a master window switch on our '07 Mazda 3. Got that part from 1A Auto. If you need that part or any part for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1AAuto.com.
I'm going to take a trim tool, and I'm just going to pry it underneath, twist it, and it lifts it up. Perfect. Now we expose the two power switches. Press on that tab. Wiggle it out. Same on this side. Take a Phillips screwdriver. Looks like there's three mounting screws holding the switch in. Remove them. You should be able to just pull it right out.
Here we have our main window power switch for our '07 Mazda 3. This one is from 1A Auto. This is the factory one. If I had to guess, I would have to say that these are identical manufacturers' switches. They looked perfect. Three mounting bolts holes. The electronic plug is the same. This actually is just for the window. This looks like it was possibly made for a universal, multiple cars. Direct fit, automatic window button, and lock windows. If you need this part or any other part for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1AAuto.com.
To reinstall, just going to go from this angle so I can see it. Make sure it's all sitting in correctly. Bolt holes are lined up. Reinstall my three mounting screws. Hand tighten them down with a Phillips. And you have it, ready to install.
Put the main power switch on. Always look at your plug. Make sure that there's no bent electrical connectors and no dirt in there. Same with the flat side. Make sure they're all good. Line it up and click it in. Here's the power mirror. Same way.
To reinstall, I have a keyway here that's going to slide into that, and the backside's just going to snap down. See if I can guide it in. Push down a little on it. And you're done.
