Hi, I'm Mike Green, I'm one of the owners at 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money, repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years' experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1aauto.com. The right parts installed correctly. That's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we are going to show you how to replace the air flow sensor on this 2002 Sierra with a 6.0 liter. This particular is basically the same for any 99 to 06, or 2000 and 2006 GMC or Chevy truck and SUV. The only tool you'll need is a flat way screwdriver.
First you want to remove your intake hose by removing or losing two clamps one there and one there. We're going to kind of speed through this part here. Use your screwdriver to pry in break the rubber loose from the plastic, maybe twist is a little bit as well, and then pull it from the throttle body. Also, pry the little clip that holds the radiator hose in; pry that out with your screwdriver as well. With the intake out of your way, you're going to want to use a screwdriver, and there's a gray locking clip here that you want to pry up from each side. There is comes out, and the little tab right here, you push that tab, pull up and off, and then you have a hose clamp, and use your flat way screwdriver.
You want to probably twist, use your screwdriver to kind of break the seal of the plastic and the rubber, and the air flow sensor comes right off. You can see the new part from 1A Auto, is just like the old part. You would transfer this ring, this air flow sensor on this vehicle is working fine. I'm not going to put a new one on. Obviously you would just remove this rubber ring with some force. It basically sticks to the plastic. There the ring it off, and you would clip the ring right back on. Have a couple of tabs that locate it right down here, that tab. Push it right back on. There is a cutout right here and a locater on the air box to line up. Push it on. Tighten up your clamp. Plug that in. Make sure you put your locking tab back down in.
We're going to fast-forward through this section which is just putting that tube back in basically, and pushing the rubber onto the plastic, tightening up the clamps, and reinstalling that little clamp that held that radiator hose to it. After that you should be pretty much all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a mass air flow sensor on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. It's the same part and similar process on these Suburbans from 2000 to 2008. The items you'll need for this include a new mass air flow sensor from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Your mass air flow sensor is located right here. You want to pry up this clip, push the tab, and pull the harness free. It can be on there pretty good. You may need to pry at it a bit with a flat blade screwdriver. It pulls free, and then you want to loosen up this hose clamp, and this hose clamp right here. Once those are loosened, pull the hose back and off. Then push your mass air flow sensor off of the air intake box, and lift it up and out. Now pull this small piece of hose off of the mass air flow sensor.
On the left is the old mass air flow sensor; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to fit exactly the same. Push that small piece of hose on your new mass air flow sensor, and then push that end of the mass air flow sensor back onto the air intake box. Now push the hose back onto the mass air flow sensor and tighten up those two hose clamps. Now reconnect your harness, push down that clip, and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the mass air flow sensor on this 2003 GMC Envoy XL with the 5.3 liter V8 engine. The items you'll need for this are a new mass air flow sensor from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Your mass air flow sensor's right here and you're going to have to loosen up these hose clamps on either side. Disconnect the harness. There's a little black locking clip. Pry that out a little bit, and then, pry up the black tab, and keep pulling the locking clip out. Then, you should push down on that black tab and it should come free. Ours is a little difficult, so I actually put the screwdriver in the other end and just pry up on the tab and disconnect it. We'll just fast forward as Mike loosens those two hose clamps with a flat blade screwdriver. Now, push the hose and air sensor back and pull that ring off. Then pull it free from the other end of the intake hose.
On the left, is the old mass air flow sensor. On the right, is the new one from 1A Auto. You can they're identical and they'll fit exactly the same. Take this ring and push it back onto your mass air flow sensor, then push it back into the air intake box. Reconnect the air intake hose and then just tighten up those two hose clamps. Reconnect the harness and replace that clip. Then you're all set.

I was completely satisfied with my part and it fit exactly as it was suppose to. If I had purchased this part at my local auto store the price would have been triple what I paid! I did go and check first! Even if I had paid for next day shipping I would've still been a lot better off with 1Aauto.com!
Do not buy this part

STay away from this part. The first one I ordered was causing bad IAT codes and when scanned had the air temp at 180 when it was 40 out. I called customer service and they would only send a replacement one. The replacement arrived and within one day was causing too lean codes. I actually cleaned the original maf and reinstalled and the problems went away. This is a heap Chinese part. Stay away and buy a name brand part

Mass air flow sensor did not fix check engine light. I had to purchase from OEM mfg.. all good now, just passes smog, but out $45. Tried to go through the return process with 1A Auto but the process was not good - did not work. Would not recognize my order number.. but yet i get an email asking how the sensor is working.. ironic... please refund my money! thanks
