  1. step : Removing the Wheel (0:23)
    • Raise the vehicle with minimal weight on the tire
    • Loosen the five 21 mm lug nuts
    • Raise and support the vehicle
    • Remove the five lug nuts
    • Remove the hubcap
  2. step : Removing the Brake Caliper and Rotor (0:44)
    • Loosen the 10 mm brake bleeder screw and then tighten it again to ensure it can be opened later
    • Remove the two 14 mm brake caliper slider bolts
    • Remove the brake caliper, prying it off if necessary
    • Set the caliper aside or hang it so there is no tension on the brake hose
    • Remove the two 17 mm caliper bracket bolts
    • Remove the caliper bracket
    • Remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket, hammering them out from the back side if necessary
    • Remove the brake rotor
  3. step : Servicing the Brake Caliper Bracket (5:43)
    • Remove the brake pad tins
    • Remove the two caliper sliders
    • Remove the caliper slider boots
    • Clean the caliper sliders
    • Clean the caliper slider channels
    • Clean the caliper slider boots as necessary
    • Clean the caliper bracket notches where the tins sit
    • Clean the caliper tins
    • Apply brake grease to the notches where the brake tins will sit
    • Install the brake tins into each notch of the caliper bracket
    • Apply brake grease to the caliper slider channel and boot
    • Install the caliper slider boot
    • Apply brake grease to the caliper sliders
    • Install the caliper sliders
  4. step : Installing the Brake Rotor and Caliper (19:29)
    • Clean the wheel hub as necessary
    • Apply anti-seize grease to the wheel hub
    • Clean the brake rotor
    • Install the brake rotor
    • Install the caliper bracket onto the knuckle
    • Secure the caliper bracket with the two 17 mm caliper bracket bolts
    • Torque the two caliper bracket bolts to 72 ft-lb
    • Crimp the brake hose with pinch-off pliers
    • Open the 10 mm caliper bleeder screw
    • Compress the caliper piston back into the caliper
    • Release the pinch-off pliers
    • Close the bleeder screw
    • Install the brake pads into the caliper bracket
    • Apply brake grease to the brake pad contact surfaces of the brake caliper
    • Install the brake caliper onto the caliper bracket
    • Secure the caliper with the two 14 mm brake caliper slider bolts
    • Torque the caliper slider bolts to 23 ft-lb
    • Press the brake pedal 3-5 times, gently
    • Open the brake caliper bleeder screw to allow fluid to gravity bleed, then close the bleeder screw
  5. step : Installing the Wheel (28:12)
    • Slide the wheel onto the wheel studs
    • Replace the hubcap
    • Replace and tighten the 21 mm lug nuts by hand
    • Lower the vehicle with minimal weight on the wheel
    • Torque the lug nuts to 80 ft-lb in a star pattern
    • Lower the vehicle completely
