In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Great Strut for a great price.
First of all my wife and I are very happy on the new Struts that we put on her car. It rides like a new car. Second I am very happy a friend of mine showed me your web site. If it was not for your web site, I would have paid double the amount for the same parts. When I bought the struts, I ask if you had a referral bonus. Thanks again and I will continue shopping here for parts. Very happy new shopper!

I like 1A Auto!
I am a retired car junkie! I overhauled many muscle cars back in the 60s. But, it has been a long time since then. I guess raising kids to adults with my wife of 42 years and developing my career got in the way. Life..... Well, when I retired I bought a 97 Silverado and began fixing it up. It didnt take long to realize that I needed help. I found 1A Autos videos on YouTube and watched hundreds of them. They gave me the confidence to tackle some pretty complicated rebuilds. Now I am working on a 2002 Honda Civic Si. I recently purchased front and rear struts for my little "SI". The price was very competitive and, of course, the videos are are great! The parts arrived on time and were exactly as advertised. 1A Auto is the best!!

So far so good
These parts seem to be of decent quality for my 05 Civic EX. First test ride they were a bit squeaky and much stiffer than the OEM shocks with 200k. After 100 miles on a few trips to work and back they have settled in and feel smoother and silent. Install was pretty simple, but a second set of hands made it much easier.

Drastically improved overall suspension.
My girlfriends 05 Honda Civic EX felt as though it would flip over with the amount of tipping that occurred when using a merge ramp onto a highway. I purchased shocks and struts for front and rear from 1A Auto as I’ve had good experiences with them in the past and their videos are very informative. The parts arrived quickly and were labeled appropriately and fit well without issue. We recently took a 6 hr round trip road trip with the car loaded down (1 week after install) and the overall performance of the car has drastically improved. The handling has improved and the car barely rocks compared to how it did in the past. The only reason for 4 stars is that one of the front shocks was of a different brand than the other.

Excellent Replacement
Seems to be good quality product (time will tell), ride is noticeably quieter/better. Front struts went on very easily, perfect fit. The bottom assembly on the rear struts were a little tight and I had to fight them a bit to position them in place to insert the connection bolt (loosening the control arm helped).
