This video is brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi, my name is Mike Green. I want to help you save time and money repairing your vehicle. I have 20+ years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks. My company, 1A Auto, sells high quality replacement parts over the internet. In this video I will be showing you how to install these parts. By the end of this video, you will know how to install them and where to get them, and that is going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we are going to replace the parking light on a 2004 Sierra 2500, which is basically the same as any 1999-'06 GMC Sierra. This is a pretty easy process, it doesn't require any tools. There is two pins that hold the headlight in, right there and there, and you'll twist those out and pull them up. Then the headlight basically comes right out and then once it is out, you can reach in behind and unplug the lights. They're basically just little teeth that you can pull with your thumb and they unplug. Then the parking light is actually snapped in. There is a little bracket that goes into the side there, and then a little piece that you squeeze and snap out there, and you can see it, switch hands here and I'll push on that tooth and the light will pop out.
Then you just pull it forward and twist out the bulbs, and you can now service either those bulbs or if you need to replace the whole parking light because it got damaged or broken, you can do that. Then to install is the reverse of the procedure, insert the harnesses and twist to lock in. Side marker light and you want to get the inside tooth in there first. Then you can see that at a little better angel here. That just presses right into that slot and locks in. Then you re-install your headlight. At this time, just to show you, you can service the headlight bulbs if you want to, just twist and pull them right out. That's the high beam, same thing with the low beam. They just twist and pull right out. If you were replacing that headlight, you can see that black bracket, you might be able to bolt that on to the new headlight or if you headlight assembly comes with that whole thing, then it just goes in that easily.
Just place the light back into place and use your pins, twist them into place and lock them and there you are. You've just replaced the parking light and we will do a quick test. The running lights, the low beams, high beams, and signals just to make sure and you see actually our side marker light is not working, so we will actually go back in and replace that small bulb and fix that side marker light.
We hope this helped you out and thank you very much. This video was brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. This video, we'll be replacing the headlight on a 2004 GMC Sierra, basically the same as a '99 to '06 Sierra. It is a pretty easy process. It requires no tools. So, with that, we'll get you to it.
There are two pins that hold the headlight in right there and there, and you'll twist those out and pull them up. Then, the headlight basically comes right out. Then, once it's out, you can reach in behind and unplug the lights. They're basically just little teeth that you can kind of pull with your thumb, and they unplug.
Okay, now we're going to replace the headlight. At this time, you can obviously service the bulbs if that's all you're looking to do. So, they just twist in ... or twist out and twist back in. Then, our headlights come with that whole bracket and everything, so if you're replacing your headlights at this point, you're plugging them in and then everything should install just the same way. Plug them in, put the headlight back in there. Take your pins, put them down through. Obviously you have to make sure that the headlight is all the way back in and lock them into place, and your head light's all set.
Now, we'll do a quick test. Just make sure everything's working. The headlight, the high beam, and the signal are not working. Actually that side marker's not working, so we'll really quickly replace that, and then, you're all set. Hope this helps you out. Headlights are pretty easy to service on these GMC trucks.

Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20-plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly: that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we're going to show you how to replace the taillight, either replace the taillight bulb or the procedure for replacing the entire tail light. The only tool you'll need is a 10mm wrench or a socket wrench with ratchet and maybe a pair of pliers and a flat-blade screwdriver.
Starting with your tailgate, open there are two 10mm bolts on each side for each light. You want to remove those 10mm bolts. We'll just kind of speed through removing those. You can use a 10mm wrench or a socket and ratchet like I have.
Once you have those bolts out, pull it firmly. If you're looking to just change your bulbs, turn them counterclockwise. The socket comes out. The bulbs just pull out of the sockets. Your harness goes down into there. Up underneath you want to unplug your connector. There's a tab right here. You press and unplug. Then the connector is held onto the frame. You have to pull it off. Then this clip here that holds the harness on, you pull that off as well. You can get that from 1A Auto. It comes with everything including a harness and plug.
You see my old light is perfectly fine. I'm not going to go through all that changing out of the harnesses and stuff. To reinstall, I'll move it into place and make sure these tabs go into here and then down there as well. We'll fast-forward again as I thread those bolts in by hand first. I might have to push on the light a little bit to get the holes to line up. Tighten them up with the socket by hand. Then tighten them up firm with the ratchet.
We hope this helps you out, brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Please feel free to call us toll free 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the internet and in person.

This is a great replacement kit that is exactly like the original lights. A great price considering if I bought each light individually. In a few minutes I had these installed and it made my 2003 Sierra look like a new one.
