I used about 60 ft lbs but I am sure that is over kill. Use red lock tight, double nut the bolts or peen over the exposed threads to prevent the nut from backing off. its just clamping force. The level of tight you can make them by hand is sufficient.

I only see six bolts in the image. Do these towers come with twelve bolts and nuts, six for each side?

I received the necessary amount of bolts for this project. Hes only work on the quad shock bronco front end or F150. I did use some loctite, as well as a few tack welds in strategic areas. But nuts and bolts would be just fine and yes it did come with the necessary amount. If for some reason your package is short, these are easily obtainable at your local hardware store just bring one in and ask them to match it specifically note the hardness.
