Fit but prone to falling off easily

Now I will preface this review that its not all the mirror cap's fault. I have hit an object that caused one of these to come off once. That said, I think the mirror design causes these to "barely" clip in. They fit snug but considering the wind speed at 80 or so MPH gets pretty strong, these do not feel secure. I have had them come off twice with no "impact". Again, look nice, fit kind of snug, but feel like they can barely be jarred and its enough to have them loose. I would say the proper fix would be to redesign the mirror itself. Until then, I'm going to have to pay $100/pair every 12-18 months when they come off.

These arent OEM but they are really nice, they even have a beveled edge on the top which adds for a better overall look to the truck, dealers price is $200+ so to get these was a no brainer!

Other than no instructions, they are great. All you need for installation is a long, small tip standard screwdriver. You slip the driver between the top of mirror, and housing, and gently release two clips (right and left). While you are pressing the clips down, gently pull the old cover away. Once out, installing the new is literally a snap. Good to go.

I would highly recommend this product it worked out great, the price was excellent for the quality and it really made the company truck look good. Definitely worth the buy.

I got exactly what I ordered. Only needed the driver side and it fit with no issues.

It fit the mirror I ordered for my 2008 F350 which came with the black mirrors so I thought I would put the chrome one's on. However the original mirror cap doesn't come off so order what matches the other side. When I called for help to remove the original the person referred me to a video for a chevy. So I kept trying to take it off and damaged the cap which doesn't come off it's part of the whole thing. I have cut off all of the tabs and am gluing it over the original. I doesn't look bad but I wish I had known I would have ordered the black textured one.

These chrome mirror caps look great on my 2011 F-150 XLT (w/Chrome Pkg) where I had already installed the 1AMRC00010 folding F-250 mirrors. Just carefully pry down the 2 clips behind the top of the mirror and snap on the new caps.

The ones that came with mirrors right one started popping off first day. Ordered these and they are working great. FYI If you have an issue with one of these tell them the issue is for both. Or they will refund just one and you can not buy a single side.

My parts was exactly what I needed. The mirror I ordered didnt match my truck but they sent the right one immediately and issued a refund for the wrong one promptly. Didnt give me any hassle at all. 1A auto has my business and referrals for life.

Great option for the Ford F-250 side view mirrors, although the stock caps fit on the new side view mirror these are nice quality parts you wont regret buying.

Could not find any information on 1AAuto on removing the supplied caps that came with my new mirrors, internet was not much help either. They do not fit as securely as the supplied caps and do not "snap" into the tabs at the top to hold in place. They also have a gap at the top of the caps where it meets the mirror and starts a VERY annoying WHISTLE at around 70 MPH. I will have to fill in the gap in order to eliminate the noise. Also forget about finding a phone number to call 1AAuto on the website it doesn't exist... They do look good until they fall off or I remove them due to the noise...

Fit and finish is very good. Replaced the caps on the OE mirror assemblies and fit the same as the originals. The only noticeable difference is these have a ledge built in at the top where the originals are smooth - not a problem for me. I got two caps for half of what the dealer wanted for one, It took a little extra time figuring out how to get the old ones off, but everything went back together nicely.

If you adjust the mirror part all the way down you'll see 4 clips total. 2 on the sides and 2 on top. With a flathead screwdriver carefully push outward and they'll pop out. Once they're out the new ones simply pop right in. Hope this helps.

Squeeze the side and pull apart to get the old off and to put the new on they just pop on . it is self explanatory when you set them on the mirror. Their is nothing to it.

There are clips holding the mirror caps on. You will want to use a thin, flat headed screwdriver or similar to pry off the clips. Installation requires matching up the clip position to the mirror housing and locking in place.

These fit Telescoping Rectangular Head Tow Style Mirrors with chrome or paint to match removable caps. These mirror caps fit the 2008 and newer style mirrors only (Original Equipment or Upgraded Style Mirrors). They do not fit the original factory designed 2007 and older style mirrors.

I have not found one, but the caps are actually really easy to remove. I applied mild pressure on the top of the cap towards the curve area and pushed upward.
