  1. step : Removing the Air Intake (0:49)
    • Release the clips and open the air filter housing box
    • List the air filter housing box cover up and off
    • Release the PCV hose
    • Loosen the rear clamp on the inlet pipe
    • Remove the box cover and pipe
    • Lift the bottom of the air filter housing box up and out
    • Remove the 10mm bolt behind the alternator
    • Remove the 10mm bolt behind the oil cap
    • Lift the air box up
    • Disconnect the intake sensor
    • Remove the air box
  2. step : Removing the EGR Valve (1:54)
    • Find the EGR valve located on the front of the cylinder head on the cylinder head below the alternator
    • Disconnect the EGR wiring harness
    • Spray rust penetrant on the two 8mm bolts connecting the EGR tube to the EGR valve
    • Remove the two 8mm bolts
    • Remove the EGR tube from the valve
    • Remove the two 10mm bolts on the front of the EGR valve
  3. step : Installing the EGR Valve (3:18)
    • Lay the EGR gasket onto the valve
    • Thread the 10mm bolts onto the valve
    • Tighten the 10mm bolts
    • Torque the bolts to 20 foot-pounds
    • Secure the EGR tube into place
    • Tighten the 8mm bolts to the EGR
    • Torque the bolts to 20 foot-pounds
    • Connect the EGR wiring harness
  4. step : Reinstalling the Air Intake (3:52)
    • Insert the air box with the silicone gasket over the throttle body
    • Tighten the two 10mm bolts to the box
    • Connect the air temp sensor
    • Insert the air filter housing into its mounting spots
    • Insert the intake tube to the air box
    • Tighten the hose clamp
    • Connect the PCV hose
    • Lock the air filter housing box
