Lifetime Warranty

This item is backed by our limited lifetime warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will replace the part free of charge.

  1. step : Removing the Door Panel (0:39)
    • Pull the top panel towards the back of the door outwards to release the lower clips.
    • Remove the Phillips screw in the cup at the top of the door.
    • Pull outward to release the clips. Continue pulling on the sides of the door until the panel is free.
    • Lift the panel up and over your lock.
    • Peel back the water shield.
  2. step : Removing the Door Lock Actuator (1:46)
    • Remove the sound block from the back of the door.
    • Follow the rod to the clip. Release the clip and pull the rod out.
    • Remove the T15 screw from the actuator.
    • Pull the actuator free.
    • Press the tab of the harness and pull to disconnect.
  3. step : Installing a New Lock Actuator (2:35)
    • Undo the Phillips screw on the actuator and to change the arm on the actuator. Red clip is driver side. Green clip is passenger side.
    • Line the actuator up with the slot. Slide it into place and replace the T15 screw.
    • Plug in the harness.
    • Reclip the arm.
    • Test the door.
  4. step : Replacing the Door Panel (5:20)
    • Reinsert the sound-ending block.
    • Replace the water shield.
    • Lift the door panel up over the lock and push the pins into place.
    • Snap the upper panel back into place.
    • Replace the screw in the cup.

Sucks. Already failing.
The driver side actuator is already failing. I have to manually pull up the lock sometimes.

fit perfect
fit perfect . video helped alot. ... had to drill hole on right side door to get to small screw that holds it in place . left side had hole from factory. works now on both sides

Need to get a new Suppiler for this part!!!
I order this part a little over a year ago and already have had to replace both side THREE TIMES! When I replaced the part the first time, I took apart the old one, and saw that the plastic gear binds on one end where the gear teeth meets the metal electric motor gear. I just had to get a replacement actuator in June 2018 to replace Another failed one, but NOW that new one is starting to fail. Looking at the insides of the last six actuator that I HAD to replace, all had the same problem; "Plastic Gear grinds on one end of gear teeth!!!!". Just send me a hand full of plastic gears to just replace the damage ones!!! Had a college Mechanic instructor check out the part and he told me that the plastic gear is slightly to small for the part, thats why it binds. He even check out the doors that the actuator fits in to see if something was causing it to bind up, but nothing, everything worked smoothly! It really wouldnt be that big of a deal, but when the part fails, it wont let me unlock the door manually due to it binding up, causing a safety problem if someone had to get out of the vehicle!!!! BTW, Im not the one who made this part a lifetime warranty, so if your Customer support people have a problem, "and the last one I talked to gave me a hard time getting a replacement part," then you guys need NOT make it a lifetime part!!!

Fits 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan
Fast shipping, best price around, lifetime warranty. These DO fit the 5th generation Grand Caravans. I put them on my 2016. Not an easy job, check out youtube for a good video. My locks were buzzing loudly when actuated. Yes, the door locks on my 2016 are broken already. I blame the kids, but thats another story... I disassembled the old ones when I got them out and found the culprit to be a stripped plastic gear. The reason this part (1ADLA00087 individually or 1ADRK00120 for the pair) is only listed up to the 2007 models is because of the vehicle manufacturer. FCA wants you to replace the entire assembly (rear latch/closing motor/child lock and lock actuator) when any one of the sub-components breaks.

Took trial and error, but they work
Id be lost without YouTube. Videos showed how to install these and pointed me to 1A Auto. Low prices and the parts fit my 2006 Chrysler Town & Country.

Great replacement locks
These locks did just the trick for my 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. However, two good things to know: First, the 1AAuto Youtube video was great in its description of replacement of the driver side lock. But in order to install the alternate arm, you need a no. 8 torx head driver. It appeared in the video he just used a screwdriver. Maybe they changed the part since the video was made? I dont know. Second, the passenger side is different and required partial removal of the entire lock assembly. Removal was easy (3 screws). But getting it back in by myself was very difficult. Get a helper!
