This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser.

  1. step : Removing the Wheel (0:49)
    • Pry off the center cap with a pick
    • Apply rust penetrant to the axle nut
    • Remove the 35mm axle nut
    • Thread the axle nut on slightly
    • Loosen the five 19mm lug nuts
    • Raise and support the vehicle
    • Remove the lug nuts slide the wheel off the hub
  2. step : Removing the Brake Rotor (2:06)
    • Remove the two 10mm bolts from the brake caliper
    • Pry the caliper piston in with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the caliper from the bracket
    • Hold the caliper aside with a bungee cord
    • Slide the brake rotor off the hub
  3. step : Disconnecting the Emergency Brake (2:53)
    • Unclip the emergency brake cables from their bracket under the frame
    • Pull back the emergency brake spring at the wheel with a trim tool
    • Release the emergency brake cable from the tab at the wheel
  4. step : Removing the ABS Sensor (3:58)
    • Remove the 8mm bolt from the ABS Sensor
    • Remove the ABS Sensor from the Hub
  5. step : Removing the CV Axle (4:15)
    • Support the wheel knuckle with a jack
    • Remove the three 24mm bolts from the wheel knuckle
    • Lower the control arm
    • Remove the three 21mm bolts from the back of the knucle
    • Remove the axle nut
    • Drive the axle out of the hub with a hammer
    • Pull off the wheel knuckle
    • Pry the axle out of the differential with a pry bar
    • Remove the axle from the differential
  6. step : Installing the CV Axle (7:37)
    • Apply gear oil to the splines of the new axle
    • Push the axle into the differential
    • Remove the axle nut from the new axle
    • Put the wheel knuckle into place
    • Insert the axle into the hub
    • Thread the axle nut onto the axle by hand
    • Start the three 24mm bolts for the wheel knuckle
    • Apply threadlocker to the 21mm bolts
    • Insert the three 21mm bolts into the back of the knuckle
    • Tighten the three 21mm bolts to 203 foot-pounds of torque
    • Thread the nuts onto the 24mm bolts
    • Raise the suspension to ride height with a jack
    • Tighten the 24mm bolts to 203 foot-pounds
    • Lower the jack from the suspension
  7. step : Installing the ABS Sensor (11:18)
    • Insert the ABS sensor into the hub
    • Insert the 8mm bolt for the ABS sensor
  8. step : Connecting the Emergency Brake (11:32)
    • Clip the emergency brake cable into the tab at the wheel
    • Connect the emergency brake cables to their bracket under the frame
  9. step : Installing the Wheel (12:17)
    • Slide the wheel onto the hub
    • Start the five 19mm lug nuts
    • Lower the vehicle to the ground
    • Tighten the lug nuts to 100 foot-pounds in a star pattern
    • Tighten the axle nut to 203 foot-pounds
    • Push on the center cap
