Does it matter if the ball joints are greased before or after they are installed?
Michael R May 13, 2018
Maybe not, but they might be stiffer to get into place when aligning.
Nicole J May 13, 2018
It does not matter. Which is easy for you. I did it after install

I just replaced the lower control arms on my 2007 Saturn vue 2wd. Do I need to get an alignment now?
Morenos T October 27, 2018
Need. No. But its always best to do it anyway.
Otts Auto S October 27, 2018
I didnt, but it wouldnt hurt
L R October 27, 2018
No need i did the same
S H October 27, 2018
If your bushings were bad it will stop you from getting a good alignment when on the rack. You should not need to get aligned unless you were out of alignment before you did the control arms.
F R October 28, 2018
Andrew H October 29, 2018
Definitly. Your tires will thank you.
P E October 29, 2018
It would be smart to get aligned soon.
S C October 29, 2018
You should have alignment checked if hasnt been done in a while. Not only from control arm replacement but from the great roads we drive on,,,I replaced both of mine and saw no need for alignment, tire wear, steering wheel straight.all good..Hope this helped,,Randy..p.s.,,new bushings with new arms will throw off caster and camber and maybe toe in/out
Randy S October 29, 2018
An alignment is not required.
