Bought this shocks and strut kit from 1A auto for my 09 Mazda tribute(144k) & for the price can't beat it bought this kit for the price of one OEM & after market strut. Fit like they were suppose to, one strut bracket for the ABS wire was bent no big deal was a quick fix. Biggest con I have to say is there was a big change in ride quality of the front suspension it's bouncy and kinda worried about tread ware after two weeks of use but only time will tell. Rear shocks work great. Would recommend this kit if you have a high mileage car & don't wanna put too much into it.

Ultra fast shipping, got them a week before was scheduled to arrive. They were the right ones and went in quick and not so easy but I didn't know what I was doing but all in all great product and even better service.

Parts came ontime as agreed and auto repair shop that I used said they had no problem installing them. I saved on the total purchase of parts and the installation. Originally shop quoted me parts and labor $2,436.71. Purchasing the parts myself and them doing the labor totalled only$1,600.

Packages arrived with all parts. Install was simple. Fixed front end drop on hard stopping. But ride is VERY rough now. Will need to give it some time ( 6 months) to see if struts lessens some. Overall happy with product.

This combo is an amazing deal as far as quick struts go but unfortunately the price is where all the praise stops. These definitely impact ride quality for the worse. I got these for a 2010 Escape AWD, this car was daily driven on these for a year. During that time the rear shocks basically lost their ability to absorb anything and were extremely noisy. The front shocks tore through a brand new set of sway bar end links and created a very rough yet bouncy ride. It got to a point where the car was in for an oil leak and the mechanic said that these shocks were getting extremely close to the end of their life and I should think about replacing them, this was a month after they were installed. I hate to push negativity towards a product but these are just a waste of money. A few months ago I gave up on the awful ride quality and splurged for a different brand and all of my problems in terms of ride were 100% solved. I drive a 2008 Ford escape XLT 3.0L V6 and I recently purchased sway bar link arms, pre-compressed shocks, and struts. I am not a mechanic or know much about cars but I watched Andys very helpful How-To YouTube video (I enjoy how he explains things and makes it very simple). With a couple power tools this job was done in no time. I appreciated the parts arrived quickly and on time, and the packaging was very nice. Im now driving much safer and securely thanks to A1 Auto!!!

Thanks to 1AA I was able to easily watch the YouTube videos and install these parts myself on my 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid. If you're on the fence about doing the install yourself, just do it. Watch the videos, which explain everything in depth, and dedicate 3 hours per end of the car to do the job. It's worth saving like $1000 off having the garage do it.
