  1. step : Removing the Intake Plenum (0:22)
    • Remove the battery cover
    • Disconnect the negative battery cable by loosening it with a 10 mm wrench
    • Remove the T30 engine cover screw
    • Remove the oil fill cap
    • Remove the engine cover
    • Replace the oil fill cap
    • Loosen the 10 mm bolt at the front of the air box
    • Disconnect he hose running from the air box to the front valve cover
    • Loosen the air filter to air box clamp, and the air box to throttle body clamp
    • Disconnect the air box from the air filter and throttle body to remove it
    • Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector
    • Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector
    • Disconnect the evap purge valve hose
    • Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector
    • Remove the 10 mm bolt from the power steering hose bracket
    • Disconnect the rear valve cover to intake hose from the rear valve cover
    • Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose
    • Pry off the wiring retainers at the rear and driver side of the intake plenum
    • Pry off the push pin retainer for the insulation block on the driver side of the engine
    • Remove the 10 mm bolt to remove the insulation block
    • Remove the two 10 mm bolts to move the cooling line crossing over the intake plenum
    • Remove the six 10 13 mm intake plenum bolts
    • Remove the intake plenum
    • Remove the intake gasket
    • Cover the intake ports to prevent debris falling inside
  2. step : Removing the Spark Plugs (8:55)
    • Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector
    • Remove the 10 mm ignition coil bolt
    • Remove the ignition coil
    • Use compressed air to blow out the spark plug well to remove any debris that may be inside
    • Check the spark plug well and ignition coil for oil
    • Carefully remove the spark plug using a 5/8 in spark plug socket and hand ratchet
  3. step : Installing the Spark Plugs (11:06)
    • Insert the spark plug into the spark plug socket
    • Carefully thread the spark plug in by hand
    • Torque the spark plug to 13 ft-lb
    • Apply dielectric grease to the boot of the ignition coil
    • Insert the ignition coil into position
    • Install the 10 mm ignition coil bolt
    • Torque the 10 mm bolt to 89 in-lb
    • Reconnect the ignition coil electrical connector
    • Repeat the removal and installation process for the remaining spark plugs
  4. step : Installing the Intake Plenum (12:19)
    • Remove the towels covering the intake ports
    • Clean the gasket surfaces of the intake ports
    • Blow compressed air into the intake ports to clear out any debris
    • Install a new intake gasket
    • Wipe clean the gasket surfaces of the intake plenum
    • Seat the intake plenum in position
    • Install the six 13 mm intake bolts
    • Torque the six 13 mm intake bolts to 18 ft-lb in the specified order
    • Reinstall the insulation block
    • Reinstall the 10 mm insulation block bolt
    • Reinstall the insulation block push pin retainer
    • Reattach the wiring harness retainers to the driver side of the intake plenum
    • Reconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector
    • Reconnect the intake plenum to rear valve cover hose
    • Reconnect the brake booster hose
    • Reinstall the 10 mm power steering hose bracket bolt
    • Reconnect the evap purge electrical connector
    • Reconnect the evap purge hose
    • Reconnect the throttle body electrical connector and retainer
    • Reinstall the coolant line 10 mm bolts, the longer on the driver side
    • Reinstall the air box onto the air filter and throttle body
    • Tighten the 10 mm air box bolt
    • Reconnect the air box to front valve cover hose
    • Tighten the air filter and throttle body air box clamps
    • Remove the oil fill cap
    • Reposition the engine cover
    • Reinstall the oil fill cap
    • Reinstall the T30 engine cover screw
    • Reconnect the battery negative cable and tighten it with a 10 mm wrench
    • Reposition the battery cover
