Excellent Replacement part
February 11, 2017
This replacement part was excellent. It was an exact fit and works exactly the same as the GM OEM part it replaced. 1A-Auto's step by step how to video made the removal and installation process easier and very straight forward. I'm hoping I don't have to replace this part again, but if I do, I'll absolutely purchase this part from 1A-Auto again.
Thumbs UP for 1A Auto!!

I would highly recommend A 1 Auto for parts not only was my item shipped to me within a couple of days thanks to the YouTube video it was very East to install. Great job A 1 Auto keep up the good work.
October 13, 2018
The video on how to remove and replace this part was essential to doing this repair. The part was a exact replacement as usual!
November 11, 2018
The left brake light was only working when the right turn signal was on and the car would pop out of cruise control. This switch fixed both problems. The price was the best I found. The delivery was fast. The job of changing the switch was made easy by watching the 1A Auto Youtube video. The only problem was removing the green connector at the back top. It turns out this is made much easier by just un-clipping the switch the green connector is plugged into first. It is very easy to do it this way.
Big savings
January 4, 2019
My truck needed this combo switch. The local parts store wanted just under $190 for the part. I purchased the part from 1a auto for just under $70 and with the aid of there install video it was an easy fix. Thanks 1aauto for the help and the savings. ????
Didn't Fix the problem
May 25, 2019
First of all, it was a missed diagnosis when I ordered this part. The part was shipped promptly and the written and video instructions were great. I had an awful time installing it, but that was my fault for not following the instructions carefully. It works fine but it it wasn't the problem. I think I know the real problem and I ordered the proper part. From 1AAuto, of course. I have already recommended you to a couple of others and will continue to do so. Jim lyons

Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
does part include dimmer option ?
April 23, 2017
This part has the high beam control, both constant and momentary, but does not control the low beams.
April 23, 2017
Yes it does.
April 23, 2017
Yes--it included all functions of my oem switch assembly.
April 23, 2017
Dimmer is included and is standard for this part.
April 23, 2017
No only bright lights Dimmer is on dash
April 24, 2017
The turn signal switch has the hi and low beem function built into it, by pulling it towards the drivers position it will change your headlights for low to hi beem. It doesn't control the dimming of the instrument panel at all though.. Hope this answered your questions.. Thanks paul
April 24, 2017
If you mean the high low beam switch, then the answer is Yes, that is one of the functions of this MultiFunction switch.
April 24, 2017
April 24, 2017
This part does not have a dimmer option. It controls the high beams (among several other things). I'm not sure if that's what you're asking about.
April 25, 2017
April 27, 2017
How long did it take to remove the bolt from the junction block?
May 9, 2017
You can you tube the process. The video is dead on. The whole job took me about 40 mins
May 9, 2017
It will not come all the way out. I used a flat head screw driver to pry it gently a part on all four sides.
May 9, 2017
about 15 min's I didn't see the bolt in the middle of the block at first, and it's hard to pull apart at first. hope this helps
May 9, 2017
3 minutes
May 9, 2017
Does this model come with the Air Bag connection as shown in the picture?
February 21, 2018
Yes it comes as pictured
February 21, 2018
Plug and play if your model has air bags it will be the same.
February 23, 2018
I am assuming so it is a module that just plugs in. Not a difficult process but you need a special small screwdriver that I had to go buy.
February 24, 2018
My headlights won’t come on and the high beam indicator light is on the dashboard, could replacing the combination switch fix the problem?
March 23, 2018
Check the connections underneath the engine-bay fusebox first. (Remove fusebox and turn it over) look for loose or corroded terminals. Poor crimping is not uncommon. After that it might be headlight switch or relay. I doubt the turn switch is the issue.
March 23, 2018
yes wire is broke in switch from tilt wheel use
March 24, 2018
Yes. That's exactly why I replaced mine. My lights worked, but were stuck on high beams. This fixed it.
