This is about 20% of the cost of an OEM door handle and it shows. Made in Taiwan. It bolts up, fits, and works, but the handle rattles in the handle cup (poor rivet fitment). No good. There's a silver lining, though: it's a very close knockoff of the OEM part. I was able to remove the actuating lever from the new cheap handle, which I used to repair my OEM handle. At $20, it was worth buying just for the part. OEM handle works great again, which is all I really wanted. 3/5 stars.

This unit came as ordered and a day faster. Watch the video for tips. It installed with no problems. The interior door panel also came off without issue as long as the screws are all removed and use caution on the electrical hook up for window, door, and courtesy light in lower door. This unit does not include the lock assembly, old one was easy to remove and installed easily. I placed some protective lube on the bolts etc. to help stop rust. GREAT SERVICE! from 1A Auto. G. I had to replace the drivers door handle on my 2001 Silverado. Locating the part I needed on the website was painless and it arrived when it was scheduled to arrive and it was correct. The handle is as advertised. It is working and allowing me to exit without have to remember push the exterior handle back, so the door will open from the inside. Takes a little to replace, but worth the time.

The door handle arrived exactly when they said it would. The part fit perfect and looks just like the original on the outside. On the inside it is made even stronger and better than the OEM part! I would reccomend this part to anyone. It even came with a new plastic latch for the handle rod.

Worked perfect, exactly what I needed. FYI the nuts that hold the handle to the door frame are not included so the originals are needed. I was missing one but was able to find it where it had fell in the door frame. So check the bottom for missing pieces before running to the hardware store!

Great part, the only issue i found was that the plastic piece that grabs the door release mechanism was backwards. Easy fix, I took it off and reversed it and it worked fine. Must have been a manufacturing assembly issue. I will buy the other 3 door handles.

The fit was perfect and handle is solid like the original. I was most worried about the texture of the handle and if it would match the original. It was the same. Yes it looks shinyer than the 20 year old sun baked original but not really noticeable.

Replacement part was fine.... no problem...... works fine.... However, the instructions on how to remove the door panel in your video are WRONG! First: The bezel for the door/window control DOES NOT pop out. There is a screw inside on the door panel that screws in the bottom side of the bezel. When prying up as in the video, the stem on the bezel broke off with the internal screw still in the door panel. Second: Once the three screws securing the panel to the door are removed, the door panel has to be slid to the right (front of truck) and then pulled up. The door panel has (2) horizontal stems that slide into horizontal tracks on the door. By pulling directly straight up, I broke one of the stems on the door panel.
