Had my fronts replaced and now I'm back to riding quiet and smooth. Purchased for an 2009 Escalade.

My low overall rating is not a reflection on 1aauto. I did my research with their customer service as well as Arnott directly. I was assured that I would be happy with the conversion of My Z55 auto ride on my 2013 Avalanche. Unfortunately even though the product appeared to be high quality, my ride was inferior. I opted to remove and go back to the more expensive OEM struts in in order to achieve my comfortable ride again. As 1aauto states that they want their customers to be 100% satisfied, they came through. I spoke with customer service and they fully understood and refunded my entire purchase with no hassle. Thank you !! I will continue to be a customer with1aauto in the future. Please keep up the great work. Tom

The shock absorber kit that I ordered from 1A Auto worked like a charm. I had looked at other parts places but couldn't find anything that would fit until I checked out 1A Auto. The service I received was tops, and every thing fit like it was suppose to. Thank you guys for knowing your parts and what they fit. Again, thanks.
cant beat the price

Very fast service and I was pleased with the correct parts for my vehicle. I also liked the video explaining how to replace my old parts.
Customer Q&A
My 2012 escalade has Magentic Ride Control and 22 inch wheels. Are these the correct front struts, SK-2671?

These here will replace the magna-ride system. These are a specially designed gas shock and uses a special sensor to eliminate the suspension light code from showing on the dash. Yes it will work on your model but if you want the OEM Magna-ride shocks, you will have to go to GM as those are a patented item through GM.

I watched the video tutorial on replacing the strut. Is there any issues with having the spring end facing inward instead of outward?

The spring should sit a certain way in it's mounting location.

Do these function like the electronic shock? It says it's direct replacement but includes error code eliminator sensors. Why are these needed?
October 11, 2017

These are gas shocks, so they will not function like the OEM electronic units. The bypass resistors are needed because there is not spot for the existing wiring to plug in. The resistors will make sure you do not have any error lights on the dash.

Can I use struts on my 2010 Escalade cheaper than the 1,000.00 price ones
November 8, 2021

does this come as a set of two shocks for this price or is this price listed as one shock each?

This comes as a set of two strut assemblies, so the price is for two!

Why do I need a conversion kit why can I just replaced them with the original OEM strut. Also how will this conversion shock react when Im towing a trailer ?
April 14, 2019
CRAIG R

This item is a passive conversion for models that originally came equipped with an automatic dampening (electronic) suspension. You are able to just replace with struts that match your OEM.

Is it plug and play?

Thank you for your inquiry. As long as these are listed to fit your vehicle, and your vehicle has the Z55 Autoride suspension, these will be plug and play. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I have a 2011 Escalade EXT and my service suspension light is on. I need new shocks. Are shocks for the front and struts for the back?
April 17, 2020
Rod C
10
Thank you for your inquiry. These will be shock absorbers for the front of the vehicle. Please be advised, these will only be correct for models that had Autoride suspension from the factory, not the Magneride suspension. We would need your vehicle's 17-digit VIN to confirm the fitment of these parts, and determine if we carry the correct front and rear suspension components. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi I have a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with the Z55 electronic ride suspension  those this set up come with the covert ion  module and can you stay with the OEM  rear suspension or dose it need to be covered too??
October 23, 2021
Franklin M
10
Yes it comes with the module. It bolts on to the top of the shock once it's all in place and you hook up the wire harness to it. Worked great. Also you can keep the stock rear suspension with no issues at all. I replaced my front only.

No, these parts are not correct for vehicles with the Z95 MagneRide Suspension. Part number SCA33130 is correct for your vehicle.
