December 3, 2018
Replacing this part fixed my Silverado blower which wasn't working except at high speed. I also replaced the blower motor, which was old and dirty and probably blew the resistor. Straightforward job, with excellent videos from 1A Auto to help.

MY HEATER / DEFROSTER DOESNT BLOW AT ALL. HEAT COMES OUT OF THE VENTS, AND IT USED TO COME ON IF IT WAS HIT WITH SOEMTHING. IS THIS BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR THE RIGHT PART?

The ressistor controls the speed levels of fan motor. Check all your fuses. If not that then actual motor. Good luck

I agree with Aaron. It is more likely the blower motor causing the no operation condition.
