I purchased the pair and the driver side went in without a problem. While installing the passenger control arm I noticed the vertical mount was ripped as if the over molding was not performed properly. when I returned to the box to get the receipt to return the part I also noticed that it had been packaged differently than the driver side and did not have a coder pin. This indicated to me that this control arm had been returned to 1A and then shipped back out to me.

Installation was a breeze but that's beside the point. Quality of part is very good bushings are good. Only thing I noticed was the weight of the part itself. The oem control arm I took off was slightly heavier beefier compared to the replacement. Impala rides like a new car.

is this the repair you need when steering wheel begins to wobble and shake?

That's a great place to start. But if you're going to have both wheels removed to replace these sway bars you might as well look at replacing the Inner and outer tie rods because they can also be part of the cause of the wobbling steering. 1A Auto has A package that contains all these items at a nominal cost

There are multiple reasons why the steering wheel would wobble and shake. The control arms may be the culprit, however we recommend having a diagnosis to determine which part(s) need to be replaced to remove that wobble or shake.

IT can cause a number of things including the wobble and shake. My issue was a bad ball joint causing speaking and thumping when going over speed bumps and pot holes. I replaced the hole assembly because the bushings were worn as well. Your issue could be upper or lower ball joins, tire out round or out of balance,.

Title says 34 mm stabilizer bars but 1aAuto only sells 33mm sway bars, is this a typo? Will the 33mm sway bar kit match with this control arm assembly? I need to replace both.
