What exactly am I reviewing?
Okay, 4 out of 5 stars. Thats a good score, but I feel like Im reviewing more than just parts. FYI, Im 55 years old and I just replaced my front brake pads...the first time Ive done this since auto shop when I was 17 years old. I got it done and (apparently) did it right. The parts were fine. But, I suspect youre selling more than just parts, thats why you have all the "how to" videos. The videos made it look easy, but there were things that got left out. Examples: I now know that T55 torx bolts are asinine. The passenger side came off easy, thought Id be done in an hour. The drivers side was totally different, I ended up going into town to get replacement caliper bolts and a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter for leverage (I have a 1/2" breaker bar and 3/8" Torx sockets). Additionally, as I got closer to doing the job and searched for my specific vehicle (videos), half said to bleed brakes as you compressed the calipers and half (like yours) didnt even mention it. I love your website and prices, but expanding videos to include tips, problems you might run into, and special tools you "might" need would be helpful. Additionally, dont carelessly blur vehicles in your videos, if you say itll be the same on any 99-05 Silverado, it better be true! Thanks!
