The instruction sheet is very vague and hard to figure out but if you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out.
Worked for 2006 530xi with extra parts.

When I bought these I was sure the website said it would work for the 530xi. And they are the correct length but they don't fit out of the box. Being a Machinist and owning a CNC shop was the only reason they worked for me. I ended up making the bottom mounts for my wife's car and using the mount that comes with it for the top leaving the flat metal on top and using the plastic spacer it comes with to center it in the upper mount. But I had to make a receiver bushing to center the bolt to the hole. The bottom mount I made fit into the small hole in the bottom mounting point to center it and protrudes up into the spring to hold it in place and fits over the spring to give you a part that allows you to use all thread to compress the spring with and leave in place, I used brass but aluminum would have worked. There is no room for any other kind of spring compressor. So putting two nuts on the bottom to lock one for holding the all thread from turning (make sure no all thread protrudes fro
