Def Heater fit my 2015 6.7L, best price, 1/2 dealer cost

The DEF Heater I ordered fit perfectly, the instructional YouTube video posted by A-1 Auto for changing the DEF heater was spot-on. Using this site and their product saved me about $500!!! I will DEFinitely be doing business with A-1 Auto again.

Perfect and lights goes away

Engine light came on. Autozone says P20BA and they dont have the part Google come up with 1AAuto and a how to video that makes you realize how stupid this job is Ford says 1700$ Amazon sends me a module not the heater I ordered; totally wrong Chinese copy part Going back to the folks who show you how to do this for free ninety free.. they have a solid one in stock can do an overnight shipping and has lifetime warranty for 50$ more than the amazon one. Fit and finish is great no issue great quality. Slap it back together drive the truck about 3 times ~30 miles each and computer finally realizes its working light goes away free of handing my 1700$ to ford. Thank you for everything start to finish 1A!! You made this so easy for me. Also yes I did this with my boys like my Dad did with me, thanks for the email.

Ill start with this: not the easiest thing Ive ever done. Took me a couple days under my truck but the 1AE video was spot-on. Watched it a couple times before install and referred to it several times during. Part was a perfect fit, arrived in excellent packaging. Included everything I needed. I believe anyone with a moderate knowledge of wrench-turning could do this job. Price was hundreds below dealer. Saved hundreds in labor. Yay 1AE!

Perfect for for my 2015 f259.

Video was really helpful. There are two small o-rings you have to install on top of the housing under the pump that aren't mentioned in the videos. Likely would be sad if you miss putting those in place before re-installing everything.

I liked that there is a video attached to show install. The only problem is it was a bad part. Didnt fix the issue. Took it to a local reputable shop, they tested it and the part was not working properly. Had them replace it.

2015 Ford F3 50

Installed part perfect match. Cleared my OBD two code. Ive been running the truck for three weeks everything works perfect

Purchased this for my 2015 F250. The job took me about 2 hours by myself. Longest part was getting the wiring harness unplugged while the tank was still mounted. Part seems to be working as advertised. The video by 1A auto is a huge help. Also try and wait until the tank is almost empty if possible. Its a little heavy and awkward at just over half full.

I put this part on and still got the same codes. Took it to a shop and they told me that its common for the after market heaters to fail and not work. They said for years they tried different ones thinking that it was just a fluke. They now only order from the factory for these types of parts. I Paid the money and got the factory part and everything is good now.

I received the heater right on time and in great shape. And the video was right on the money. Thanks for posting this online. One of the things that impressed me was that the A1 Auto web page stated that the DEF heater met OM specifications. Once installed, the heater performed as expected and all this with the cost being less that half of the dealer cost. Apparently there are units being sold that are sub standard. But so far it is great to have it working again. Thanks for being there when you are needed.

Its a real struggle getting this apart and then back together without breaking off the little nipple that the fluid feed hose connects to. This is not an A-1 issue, its a Ford issue. A-1s product was perfect as it could be, given a glaring design flaw by Ford, making this feed nipple as fragile as an eggshell. Of course we broke it off, meaning a run to Autozone and a quick little bill of $350 additional dollars to buy a replacement module that sits atop this DEF pump assembly, as there is no way to fix a broken supply connection. (Ask me how I know!!) I would give A-1 a five star rating but I just cant given my initial expenditure just wound up costing me an additional $350. Why with all this high tech design cant someone design around such a GD obvious design flaw? Ridiculous if you ask me.

Received it with all parts described. Installed it by myself in three hours taking my time while doing it. I did have to buy a scan tool to remove the code, as it did not clear after the install. Overall, it would have been much easier if I had a lift available.

Not happy with the quality of the product. The OEM part was Bosch. I was anticipating original equipment replacement. It's already installed now but I'm skeptical, We'll see how this part holds up.
