Part Details

  • Quantity:   4 Piece Set

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut
Pre-Assembled

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Are the just the replacement or will these give me a little bit of a lift to the car?
Mariah M March 11, 2016
A little, give the truck a few weeks to settle
Jeff H March 11, 2016
No lift...exact factory fit, ride and ride height
Broc B March 11, 2016
They are stock replacement. Just installed them in my 02 Explorer, theyre great. It basically puts your car back to stock height.
Juan L March 11, 2016
Hi Mariah, I recently installed these on my 02 Explorer. They are direct replacements and do not add any lift to my truck. I hope this helps, Jody H.
Jody H March 12, 2016
I did not notice any change in lift
Barry G March 12, 2016
These replacement strut are just what they are; replacement struts. They will not give you any extra lift but they do a great job for a better ride from the worn out ones.
Larry H March 12, 2016
They were replacements for an older Explorer I have. They did not add any lift
Marvin B March 12, 2016
No , stock height
Brian F March 14, 2016
I got no perceptible lift after installation, nor did I expect any. I would guess if you have a broken spring you may notice some lift where that spring has broken. My reason for replacement was due to leaking shocks. This complete strut made for a quicker and cleaner install. My son and I installed all 4 in about 4 hours using a lift. Neither of us had done this job before. Some delays were being cautious and double checking torque values etc. Car rides nice now.
Barry D March 14, 2016
Would these fit a 03 Lincoln aviator as well?
Jose G March 28, 2016
No they will not
Brian F March 28, 2016
Can thsee be adjusted any at all to lower the truck?
Jeff H March 26, 2017
No, these are meant to be used to factory height and are not adjustable.
