Just need basic tools for removal and installation. A torx bit, ratchet and extension for removal of factory parts. 2 things: eat your Wheaties they are in there good and have a second person or a tall pole or similar to support the weight of the lift gate. The replacement parts go in super easy. Need a 13 mm wrench or deep socket to install. SAVE THE WASHERS!!! And if needed a third person to manage the 3 year old, if you have one. Will definitely recommend if your lift gate is failing. Shipping was super quick and the prices beat the retail chain stores by a few dollars.

The supports were easy to install using the instructions provided. The entire replacement job was less than 15 minutes on my car using a torx bit on my ratchet, a few drops of Locktite, and a half inch open end wrench. The difference in old vs new supports was dramatic. If your hatch does not stay open, this is a very easy and inexpensive way to fix the issue.

Rear lift gate shocks went bad on my 2005 grand caravan. I got tired of getting hit on the head with the door so i ordered them. Best price around, fast shipping, great directions (make sure you read them), drop in fit. They work great.

I ordered 2 lift supports for a van door. The package arrived but the box had been opened and taped closed - badly. There was a hole at the end. One of the lifts fell out of the hole when I picked the box up, and the other lift was missing from the box. I went "live chat" with one of your agents. They ordered a replacement for the whole order and shipped it the next business day. I got it 5 days later, this time in great shape. I don't order parts from anywhere else on the internet. It is great to find the parts I need at a good price. Thanks!

Replaced worn pistons on my van'S rear lift door. The new ones were not an exact match and required a bit of modification. Our auto lift hatch now has slight difficulty working sometimes. But the door doesn't suddenly close on you like it did before due to worn pistons ...3 stars.

Definitely not OEM. I was hoping to just replace the lift support bar/actuator and be done with it, but the connectors are not compatible with the OEM parts. I had to install the base connectors on the door frame and hatch. Make sure you have a star bit, and don't be afraid to apply torque to break the OEM connectors loose. Also, when installing the new support bar I thought they were too long! I had to push up hard on the hatch to be able to fit the bar. Last piece of advice, do one side at a time. If you uninstall both, you will NOT be able to hold the hatch up.
