Installation

  1. step : Remove the door panel (0:50)
    • Remove the triangle corner panel by the window.
    • Disconnect your side mirror wiring harness.
    • Remove the seven T20 torx driver to remove all the screws anchoring the door panel.
    • Pry up the door pull and remove the 7 mm bolts hiding beneath it.
    • Pull back the door latch trim panel
    • Unplug the wiring harness for the switch panel.
    • Remove the door panel.
    • Remove the foam block and carefully pull back the water shield.
    • Unbolt the speaker with your 6 mm socket and ratchet, unplug the wiring harness and set aside.
  2. step : Remove the window regulator. (4:40)
    • Unbolt the window from the regulator with a 10 mm socket and ratchet.
    • Tape up the window out of the way.
    • Unplug the window motor from the wiring harness.
    • Unbolt the wiring harness with an 8 mm socket and ratchet on the five bolts.
    • Pull the window regulator out of the door panel.
  3. step : Install the new window regulator from 1A Auto (6:20)
    • Finesse the regulator into position and bolting the five 8 mm bolts in.
    • Plug the motor in.
    • Untape the window and bolt it into the regulator.
  4. step : Re-install the door panel (10:13)
    • Replace the water shield and foam block.
    • Reinstall the speaker, plugging it in and then bolting it in with a 6 mm socket and ratchet.
    • Put the door handle back into place.
    • Clip the door panel back together.
    • Reconnect the mirror and window switches.
    • Replace the trim panels and bolt the 7 mm bolts back into the door pull.
    • Replace the door pull and replace the T20 screws.
