  • You'll get a great feeling of accomplishment after you complete this repair knowing you saved money, and you didn't have to give up your car for a day at the repair shop. Your passengers and other drivers will be amazed.

Fit guaranteed

  • Be confident this part will work right. Every regulator is tested after assembly to make sure all mechanisms are working correctly.

  • Windows that don't work can be frustrating. They can also hurt your vehicles value. An inoperable window could mean $200-$500 discounted off a dealer trade value or asking price.
  • Some shops and dealers charge more for parts and repairs when they think you don't know what is involved. Now you can get the value you deserve. Knowing what this repair entails can be the difference between the value of doing it yourself, or the pain of a costly repair bill.

Window regulator was NOT "high quality".
The whole thing was packed very well in the box. That was the only thing done well. The motor was wired backwards. I had to remove the pins in the connector and reinstall them the other way. The operator uses round plastic slides. The original uses square slides in the channel. The round slides made the window loose in the door frame. The oprator clicks as it goes up through the motion. It can clearly be heard clicking as it goes up. The other operator for the drivers door I got from 1A Auto was perfect. So it's a manufacturer/supplier issue. I got a poorly assembled and built window operator .

Works fine, but not identical to original
I bought one of these for a 2001 Corolla. The video was quite helpful to save me a bit of futzing around. Total install time, excluding trip to the hardware store, was less than an hour.

This part is different than the original Toyota part. In the picture of this part, you can see that there is one arm with two studs. In the original part, that arm is longer, is connected behind the spring (black coiled thing in the middle), and has two threaded holes. Perhaps this design is nicer, as it allows the scissor action to work without running the motor and thus makes it easy to pass through the hole in the door. The down side is that it cost me a trip to the hardware store to buy a couple of nuts.

If the nuts were included in the package, it would have been five stars.
