Installation

  • This repair is easier than you may think. You'll find our installation videos helpful. In our experience removing and replacing the door panel is the most involved step in the repair. On most vehicles this only requires removing a few screws and push in clips.
  • You'll get a great feeling of accomplishment after you complete this repair knowing you saved money, and you didn't have to give up your car for a day at the repair shop. Your passengers and other drivers will be amazed.

Fit guaranteed

  • 1A Auto will refund you with no hassle, if this Window regulator does not fit the application stated.
    •  This Regulator will install just as your original does. Save time and money.

Quality

  • Be confident this part will work right. Every regulator is tested after assembly to make sure all mechanisms are working correctly.
  • It is important that your new regulator works for a long period of time. The design of this regulator is tested to withstand 10,000 cycles. That is enough to raise and lower your window 3 times per day for 9 years.
  • Nothing is more frustrating than taking your car apart and finding the part you purchased does not fit. You want the part to fit. This design is test fit on an actual door. When you install it, you will have no issues.

Value

  • Windows that don't work can be frustrating. They can also hurt your vehicles value. An inoperable window could mean $200-$500 discounted off a dealer trade value or asking price.
  • Some shops and dealers charge more for parts and repairs when they think you don't know what is involved. Now you can get the value you deserve. Knowing what this repair entails can be the difference between the value of doing it yourself, or the pain of a costly repair bill.

Works like the original!
My mechanic had no problem putting this part on the car. The window rolled up and down just like it did before the original part broke.

Good part good price
Found my window regulator here for one third of the price of anybody else. It was easy too install after watching installation video on YouTube. "Very happy"

I was 100% satisfied with the regulator. It fit and functioned perfectly. And the videos were great for how to dissect the Toyota doors

great part easy installation
The window regulator replacement went in beautifully. Everything lined up perfectly. The 1A Auto tutorial was helpful in that it demystified the process, I am not a mechanic but I sure felt like one after completing the repair.

You get what you pay for
1AAuto guarantees this part to fit. And indeed it did fit. Installation was pretty much as shown in the video although the video was for a front door whereas this part was a rear door. The video failed to describe how to remove the plastic trim piece around the door latch which also holds the door panel in place. Took me over an hour to get this piece off.
Installation was straightforward. After everything was back together the moment arrived to test my work. This is where my dissatisfaction started. The motor on the 1AAuto part was wired backwards. Lift the switch up, window goes down. Push switch down, window goes up. With no safety cutoff on the motor, pushing the switch down on a closed window will result in the motor burning itself out. Apparently the Chinese definition of quality control is different from ours. I see this as a serious problem. I suggest testing the motor before installation and reversing the wiring if necessary. But, on a quality part, it shouldn't be necessary.

Good price and prompt delivery - works smooth
The only problem we had with the operation of the window is that it seems to be wired backward. We have to push the control switch down for the window to go up and up for the window to go down. Is there an easy fix on this without taking the whole door cover off? I can live with this ok but it may be a safety hazard for people who have children in the back seat.
Thank you, Dave Abel - Heath, Ohio

Response from 1A Auto
We are sorry to hear the wiring is backwards. To fix this, you would need to take off the door panel and rewire the prongs on the motor's connector. Please call us at your convenience if you would like us to look into our current stock and issue a replacement pending approval with appropriate wiring.

reverse polarity
Works fine but the polarity is reversed. I had to reverse the wires from the connector.
